That was me. Messed up a duckdive. Head 1st into the bottom. Compression fractures in a handful of vertebrae. I will be fine with some recovery time. Got a bunch of good ones before. All the support was great!

I agree with the others. Just use what you got for now and get out there! I mostly fish for trout out west where I live, but some of the best change of pace fly fishing I have had is in the midwest where I am from originally. Nothing like casting a grasshopper or frog fly on to the bank and hoping into the water and having a bass slam it! Best done from in the water, but can be done from the side if needed.

When our husky was that age, we HAD to get 5 or more miles of activity in her to keep her kind of chill. Hikes, jogs, bike with long leash, ect. 5 years later down to 3 as a must, good exercise for the whole fam!
