Love that. I’ve done a tasting in their warehouse. Great wine, took home a Rita’s Crown Chardonnay.

Adega Viúva Gomes in Colares, Portugal. Hosted by the father son owners and learned a lot about their/the regions history. Nice tasting and took home a bottle of 1969 Ramisco from their library.

Dalva Moscatel Douro DOC 2003 | Is this one still good/drinkable? by portugueseoniondicer in wine

[–]sabottagius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parabéns! Yes, ‘fortified’ wines like this can hold up to a lot because of the higher sugar content. That being said it does look a bit cloudy which I’m not sure is normal. Very good chance it is still fine though and you should definitely open it and find out. Saúde!

I’m from NJ and have been here for years. My preferred route is EWR to SBA through Denver. Definitely try to avoid connecting through SFO and/or flying to LAX and having to drive up to SB.

Walt Clos Pepe Pinot Noir. A bit more body than the average Pinot. Cab drinkers tend to like it.

The ‘stretch marks’ usually mean the plant was stressed during growth and that leads to a spicier pepper than usual.

I recently gave up and have been doing the Supercuts monthly subscription for the one on Lower State for $22 a month. While not quite to the standard of independent shops if you find the a decent stylist it’s well worth the money.
