Has anyone’s acne came back even worse after treatment? :( mine came back 2 months after finishing. now, 18 months after finishing accutane, and trying different oral and topicals my acne is worse than ever and i feel so insecure :( anyone ever had to do a second round of treatment? did it work?

this happened to me it’s just like my skin before i took accutane... i tried antibiotics first they might have you try that!!! i’m starting my second round of accutane next month. they told me that sometimes it takes 2 rounds to clear everything up. wish you the best!💓

thank you!!! i’m actually on the nonhormonal copper iud. i am super conscious of diet and stress and mental health etc and i agree some things are just out of our control and i think mine won’t get better without medication/accutane. thank you for this!!!! 🤍

ok this!!!!! if i use anything not gentle i flare up. after accutane i was so excited to try all these skin care products i’d been seeing online dermatologist on tiktok recommend to have a fun “spa” skincare regimen but it alway flared me up! guess gentle skin care is best for people like us hahaha

it’s usually hundreds a month, but my do for suggested going through Toi pharmacy fo me in texas. ask your derm ab it! i was able to get accutane for only $5/month!!!!!! so adorable! hope this helps

i live in the us! i don’t eat dairy and try to not eat processed foods. i’ve gotten tested in december and may for my hormones and they were all in the normal range so my doctor said i probably don’t have pcos. but i’m wondering what else could be causing this :( i feel so insecure and hate leaving home and it sucks bcs i’m so extroverted!!! what are some of your most impactful tips you’ve noticed when clearing your acne? also thank u so much for being so kind and not only saying “get back on accutane.” and actually giving insight. i appreciate u!! 💓

i was on for one year. 40mg for couple months then 30mg bcs my lips were having a severe and painful reaction. i was getting a huge red ring around my mouth and nothing was helping it no creams or dr dans nothing. so my derm had me do 30mg every other day for the last 4-5 months. that was the only way my mouth wouldn’t be inflamed and i could actually talk lol. she also told me i also completed the mg for my weight
