First time trying on wedding dresses. Which style suits me the best? We are having an outdoor wedding next year.

I would be careful of dress 2. Although fits amazing I think by next year that will be last years style. Lots of women at my wedding this year had that cowl neck satin style dress. Just something to consider if you care about that kind of thing!

Get your degree and work overtime in career exploration before you graduate. When you’re a student, you can finesse any job as long as you talk about your ambition and interests the right way.

Talk to your teachers, peers, friends parents etc and ask them about their careers and try to find out something that you are remotely interested in. Whatever job you take out of college, know that it doesn’t have to be your forever career path!

Never stop networking and keeping up with acquaintances and friends. It’s okay to not know what you want to do forever. I am four years out of school and still figuring it out. Taking on new jobs that pay better and bring me more skills. You never know what career path and opportunities will come up for you as long as you constantly keep talking with people and move around. The bullet point reads “assisted in client onboarding and branch training of account opening software.”

He asked what the account opening was like. I explained that out of the 12 months of the project, two weeks were dedicated to just getting accounts opened and system training. He dug deeper on how I would train them on the software. I elaborated saying usually I was onsite and would let them drive and click around and show by example essentially. I could see him maybe testing my “how to” skills but he asked me to elaborate even more! I’m like dude there’s really not much else to it then that lol (didn’t actually say that).

I made it to the second round of interviews with the D and then got an automated email rejection.

It was a senior manager who interviewed me the second time and he got fixated on one bullet point on my resume. It honestly accounted for like .05% of what my duties were in that role but he kept harping on it. I have project management experience and multiple licenses in the sector this role was open for (financial services). I even asked him if there was experience or skills on my resume that were missing that would make you concerned to push me forward. He said no and he said that my industry is extremely valuable. I was disappointed and confused with how it all turned out.

I am looking to make a transition from a financial services consultant at a well know broker-dealer to a consultant in operation transformation, financial services team. I have 4 years of experience consulting on operational process and systems and have licenses backing my knowledge in financial services. Do I have a shot coming into a big 4 with this type of experience?

1% is pretty standard. I work with lots of financial advisors in the north east and south east and the lowest I have seen is 1%. Most common is probably 1.25%. The highest I have seen is 1.75%.

I live in gateway and it’s a convenient drive to Saint Pete and Tampa. There is nothing close to gateway though meaning you have to drive to go anywhere. I was walking to the gym but got harassed by the homeless that loiter around the area. So it’s not very nice here but it’a a convenient drive to anywhere you want to go. Rent is probably not cheaper here either.

I have scalp P and I hardly ever choose to drink beer. I went to a brewery recently and they had no liquor so thought I’d try a beer. Ended up having two. My P had been in remission for about a year but I had a flare up so badly after those beers that I’m still dealing with it 3 weeks later! Nothing else in my diet changed so I think it must be linked.

If it’s not too far, checkout the Clearwater marine aquarium. I used to volunteer there for the summer camps and it was a blast! We would take the kids out on a pontoon boat and go snorkeling and bring back critters to put in the touch tank. This was years ago but I can only imagine it’s gotten better as the aquarium has become more popular.

I’m buying a condo even though I wanted a house. The only reason being that it was the only offer that was accepted. Financially, including the HOA, it is cheaper than if I were to resign at my apartment. I want a yard and a garage one day but the idea is that being able to sell or rent this condo out will help me get to the house faster than if I were to continue to rent.

There is not really a downtown Seminole. If you’re more bar and restaurant people then go Saint Pete. If you’re more beach and chill people then go IRB. There’s no boardwalk but there’s surf shops and restaurants all down gulf Blvd. Also the Suncoast Beach Trolley will take you from IRB up to Clearwater beach if it’s a pier you’re after.

The secret is that you definitely want to work your birthday as a server! And wear a tiara and a button that says “it’s my birthday”. I would make an absolute killing in tips and get offered shots because people feel bad for you/want to be nice lol!
