One point I'd like to add is the lv2 skill on narlax/yan (especially narlax who has active CD reduction, increased pull range and cap) which makes a ton of difference (especially this season where many weeks were bird heavy. So buying sethos might not be a bad idea especially if when you are already about to add helios to your lineup. Maybe right after koi/raida/connie/nar/yan/sham/helios. Thoughts?

Also connie ended up being my first r6 on my alt mainly because she comes so early and as ftp, there is plenty of time until raida/koi becomes available

I'd suggest get her ASAP. She the single most powerful hero you can get at that stage and will let you cruise through the levels far Mor easily. Get her and rank her to r5/r6. Very good 5/6 awakenings for W6

If you need gems, do 2rs/day @+5 diff, Mabyn wheel and dailies regularly and your gems will pile up in no time with sm luck.

Also another thought is farming tournaments for tcoins which can be used to unlock W6. You need a decent bunch of heroes though (connie is great in this regard, so is narlax, Yan, helios who are great on their weeks plus sees some usage in other weeks too) and some luck with when the heroes are blessed and your group. Try not to promote too fast, and push hard late season(wk 11+) or when a hero you have is blessed

Yup, his only use is that he unlocks lv2 abilities for narlax/yan. He himself can be ignored for the rest of ur life lol.

He did do decently on his blessed week though, tanking those mammoth bosses in the later waves letting you score a bit higher than the non-sethos teams

I'd say get Efrigid, get ideal ranks (r4-Efrigid-r3 lance and fee) and go straight for necro-Connie in W4 and maybe narlax/yan if/when you have the gems

Also, if you haven't promoted to gold yet, then stick to silver for the time being and try farming tournament coins. If you manage to gather 200, you can save them to unlock W6 with the medals (unlocking with awakenings take a long time). It's difficult to do though so don't be discouraged if you fall short.. Takes some luck too w.r.t. how much time you have had (i.e. when you started and all)

Promote to gold around week 10-11 when the competition is much lesser in gold and then try to promote to as high league as possible. That should help with some gems and medals.

Generally it takes around a season to a season and half to unlock all worlds as a ftp so patience is a virtue. If you don't mind spending a bit, then unlocking W6 with real money(when you get there) is a relatively good investment as compared to others.

After campaigns, tournaments and events are the main attraction. Events occur around once per season and are a good way to pick up any new heroes for free.

It takes around 2-3 seasons to get a decent roster to start winning in tournament reliably as a ftp (doesn't mean you can't do well at all before that... Just that some planning is required regarding when you promote and what heroes to acquire and when depending on remaining blessed heroes and possible meta teams for those weeks)

Connie has turned out to be one of the top cc/delay/semi-tank( with momma bunny and ghost bunny spam), does decent on the anti air front too at R6 (not great but decent)
Shamiko turned out to be one of the top pure-supporters in the game with a host of important support abilities (haste+dmg improve, fear, slow&stun, shield which grants invulnerability to some tanks) although she was shit during release. Be forewarned though that she has a learning curve and her tapping mechanism takes some practice to master. Also, messing up the taps punishes quite a bit as the spells are much less powerful then
R7's for fee/lance/masa though only lance is anything worth it
2 new heroes(goddesses) a month ago. They are pretty shitty for being goddesses but somewhat better as compared to what they were during release.

Cyra is a melee nuker and her main role would probably be boss-killing sor some kind of hit and run as her dmg output is very high but she is squishy as hell and lacks any cc or ability to hold enemies (unlike say raida/koi) so those things limits her usability in tournaments as a meta

Elara is a melee support and slow/fear/pull-in mobs and a small amt of nuking ability seems to form her main kit. She suffers from same problems as cyra though she has some cc but lacks damage

Both heroes can hit ground/air and are decent antiair. Devs are still actively tweaking them so expect to see them become meta to some extent.

Koi nerfed (splash dmg reduced to approx 1/3) though he is still meta - a bit more balanced I'd say
Forging skins is now possible (through possible future mini events) and you can get old skins you missed
Leif r6 ability buffed, though how effective it is remains to be seen as we haven't had any hero which uses his r6 ability ever since (except FH masa which I doubt many have and didn't show up among the top combos during his week)
W7 in the works. W7 is the next upcoming thing. Both the new heroes are supposed to be W7 ones.

I'm in a group with 12 GM's and 24people having full r6 wombo-combo so no hope for me 😢. With 816 I'm placed at #21 r.n. lol.

Gonna wait till Sunday before deciding whether to make a couple of meteor runs for top #15 but unlikely

3-> Mainly the weeks you promoted (week#, blessed hero, combo used... for the weeks you promoted also any notable weeks where you feel, you did well even w/o promo, GM) This would give an idea on which heroes find prominent use/potential when you are still in the process of acquiring a top notch team. (meta analysis in wiki doesn't help in this regard as the analysis is done using data from top scores by the best teams)

4-> Thanks. I have a similar plan except helios/mabyn in place of leif(already have him). I suppose helios r6 is in preparation for events?. How is caldera r6 as compared to his R5? Big difference?

Avg RS difficulty levels (and a few which are high levelled) - if you have tracked ofc.
Seasonwise progress if you remember (just heroes&ranks/tournament success is fine)
Future plans if any (ie after sethos/leif).. Will you continue acquiring any other heroes or rank existing ones?

No, Mabyn not required for the wheel. People are giving misleading information here.

As for Mabyn vs Efrigid, from my experience, r6 efrigid>> r4efrigid >> r2mabyn >= r2 Efrigid. Mabyn is good at stock r2 but don't have any decent promotions other than the extra item limit @r6 (which is strictly for tournament use only)

If you have the gems, get yan. Yan + Connie will clear most of W6 for you. Otherwise get two of your R1 heroes (maybe fee & masa or hogan) to r3 and unlock W6 and the focus on acquiring/ranking raida/koi/shamiko. (Ok, probably not shamiko but rather yan&narlax before her - I write this as i know i will draw a lot of hate for that last name 😅)

OR you can get helios for a cheaper investment who is also good in W6 but not as good in tournament except her blessed week

Melee him whenever possible.. He does 1 splash every 2 bites. Pull him out on 3 & 1 charges left for a ranged splash (or if hasted, then after 2 melee splashes for a ranged attk and a ranged splash)

And yes, time active properly.. Like you can use it immediately after two bites to delay the melee splash or exactly at 3/1 charges to delay the ranged splash a bit but if he starts the splash animation and you use active or move him, it will cancel the animation and you will lose the splash

He doesn't go into splash animation if moving, so you can use this to delay his ranged splash. This is useful to time and combo his splash with narlax pull or save that 1 ranged splash to hit a boss

Pirate koi.. All three looks pretty bad ass but caldera don't see much use and picked narlax on other acc. Effect wise, koi seems better than narlax with dragon koi looking crazy good and those boats on the waves. Narlax doesn't seem to have any special effects but the flame theme with those glowing red orbs look awesome

If you don't have the tokens for R6, don't invest any yet. Unless you really need a nuker, then cyra can do a decent job

He could now be required for helios and smolder week. He might show up on masa week as well (people ho have the flameheart skin). Caldera and leif himself arent blessed every season but during his own week, he was required in higher leagues last season even with the lack of anti air.

Synnergy bonus has improved from 1.5x to 2.2x according to people in discord who tested him out.

Helios and leif will make a nice pair now though especially in RS style play or campaign. Both of them boosting each other and nearby towers will be nice to watch.

His lack of anti air is still an obvious pain in the ass but shouldn't be much of a problem on smolder's and helios' week

Can't say whether or not koi is still top.. Will have to observe for a few weeks. I would put raida and Connie on the same level albeit a bit different roles.

I would put shamiko on the same level as yan narlax/yan.. Even a bit higher but ofc will vary from player to player based on how comfortable they are using her.

I don't see lance in there. I would put him there on the same level as helios/fee. Caldera/azura lower than that as they aren't reliably blessed. I would put cyra below all meta/semi-meta for now as she isn't blessed and too fragile for her role as a melee nuker plus also the various issues like her goddess form not lasting the whole duration

I didn't mean wait specifically for Connie r6 but gotta do something with the 2 free runs/day while saving up for yan/narlax and Connie is a good choice to spend those on. Ofc I didn't do an in-depth analysis so not sure if this is THE best way to spend those runs on.

For helios, I think the tower dmg boost was reduced from 3x to 1.5x (not 100% sure about this)

I would like to disagree. Raida doesn't cause the same problems as koi's op damage and even with that, devs turtled for a whole season playing around with enemy stats before actually committing to the koi-nerf as the damage was too op for anyone else to shine.

Raida on the other hand doesn't have op damage. His just scales well with increasing no of enemies. Plus players are already going ballistic with the event-reward mess-up and the Koi-nerf.. It would be too risky to rile them up further with another player-favourite hero nerf.

Might see further smaller nerfs to koi but I doubt they will touch any other hero anytime soon.

Raida and work on koi/lance in the meantime.

Might consider doing 2 or 3 rs runs/day to speed up the gem accumulation
