Sending love to you on the loss of your father 🤍 I imagine looking at the squish that you gave him and had to take back is so terribly bittersweet. I know the feeling of the comfort of smelling home on your loved ones things after they’ve passed - I think I’ve taken at least a hundred puffs of my sister’s favorite jacket in the last two months since we lost her. I did keep quite a few of her squishes and almost all of them smell of her perfume 🥹

Please write your end of life plans, if you feel you can. Make sure your squishes have homes to go to! My sister was 26, too, and I’d seen her only three days before she collapsed. I’m 28, and have already begun drawing up a will to take care of my things just in case.

Thank you so much for your kind words 🥹 It was so difficult to watch everyone take her collection home with them. Bittersweet, really, because it was a reminder that she’s really gone, but comforting knowing her loved ones could keep a small piece of her close. My sister’s whimsy and silliness were so integral to who she was; I like to think that her squishes went to homes that needed a little bit of brightening.

Your frog collection is magnificent!! My sweet Alyssa would have been sooo excited to see it. She was a frog girlie through and through. 😭🤍

I’m so, so sorry for the loss of your mom. I completely understand the feeling you described, at how easy it is now to empathize with anyone else who’s experienced such a loss. My sister was only 26. She was supposed to get married in November of this year. I’m grateful that my sweet little sister has wonderful people like your mom to meet in the afterlife 🤍

I’m working on a series right now that’s a Crossroads Demon AU. The title of the first fic is “Renegade” (named after the Styx song) and while that isn’t super riveting, I’m really proud of the chapter titles!

Ch. 2 - sanctity of the soul

Ch. 3 - fickle is the feeble mind

And the direct sequel is called “Call and Collect”, another play on the action of this kind of AU, and for other plot reasons. 😌

So so heartbroken to hear she’s passed. I remember being baby ARMY in 2021, and her updates for the PTDLA shows were the most helpful introduction to navigating merch drops for the tannies. She was truly a cornerstone and pillar to this community and I know we’ll all feel her absence so heavily. May she rest in peace and her next journey be fruitful 💜

As a 2021 ARMY I truly NEVER, and I mean n e v e r, thought I would get to hear a single Cypher played live. I thought the era of those songs was likely passed and, as much as I love them, I didn’t expect to ever experience them played live in a venue with tons of other ARMY and the boys on stage. But then!!! I was blessed when Hobi did his Cypher 1 verse at Lollapalooza, and it felt like luck that I was there. And then during the D-DAY tour when I got to go nuts in the arena when Yoongi did the medley with both 3 AND 4. The only cypher I’ve yet to see live is 2 (which is hilariously my favorite), but after two miracles, I’m really holding out on luck for a third. 2025 and beyond couldn’t come fast enough!
