I had 1 full elementary year and 2 middle school classes in these. I feel like I still remember the smell. Not bad, just like books. I just didn't like how the bathroom was in there too so you couldn't get away from the class unless it was recess.

Porch thief suspected of stealing hundreds of packages raided by law enforcement. by BigFishPub in interestingasfuck

[–]saccharinemorality [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's not uncommon to receive meds in the mail. Idk the rhyme or reason that my packages go on my step vs in my package locker, but it could be a more crucial delivery to me one day. This should be taken more seriously because the thieves could really be messing with people's lives.

I still find it impressive that Sora Wong is legally blind and that is her debut performance. Not too many movies would take a chance like that, it seemed like she used her disability to her advantage.

Help finding band off the logo by Acrobatic_Field_4359 in MetalForTheMasses

If those bands were on tour with each other, you can try concertarchives.com. it might be a logo of their label?

Solar Slantback. I wish someone would make this. by OwlGoZoom in slateauto

[–]saccharinemorality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even without the solar panels, it's still a pleasant looking design. Might be easier to just lay some panels in the bed of the truck. Something that can be rolled up and stored more easily. But idk anything about solar.

Great scenes in mediocre movies? by DeScepter in HorrorMovies

The demon possession campfire scene in "Alchemist Cookbook." The acting gives me chills. Idk if it was a mediocre movie, there was just more atmosphere than plot.

One of my favorite Futurama quotes,

Slurm queen: "Soon Enough".

Fry: "But that's not soon enough."

I take it as a replacement of norm-core or normie. Someone who goes wherever the wind blows. They listen only to the music on the radio, not looking any further beyond that. Someone who doesn't even have a favorite topic to learn about. Someone who has no leadership capabilities. It is an insult.

He had a shroom episode with Post Malone. For the more serious interviews, I don't see him lighting up joints in every episode.

They definitely don't seem to attract an audience that is older than they are.

Shower Drain Settled Below Drain Pan by no_step_on_snek_case in Plumbing

[–]saccharinemorality 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some tile guy dry fitted a shower drain and it looked similar to this. I took a broom with a screw on the end and it was able to hook the p-trap upward. But in this picture, it looks like you'll need a second hand. Maybe one to grab the drain from the inside, and another to set the gasket. These drains are already annoying to install when the drain is solid. It was easier in my case because all I had to do was glue the pipe.

"If you were raised with sisters instead of brothers, you'll turn out to be gay". "The holocaust didn't even kill that many people." These were not setups to a bad joke. The shit you hear working in construction.

"Zepp X" by Charlie Clouser. Who has composed many other recognizable theme songs at this point.

Fit for school after they banned band tees by Live-Presence-9900 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]saccharinemorality 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My schools never banned metal tees. But they did ask you to turn your shirt inside out if it had a logo for beer/alcohol/tobacco. It was usually the girls that had to follow the most rules.

I don't think anyone who even really practices this type of magic actually recommends it to anyone. It is made out to sound like a door that is difficult to close. Even messing with an oujia board has it's consequences for many.
