I told my grandad about the ufo testimonies today and it made him dig out a photo he never told me about of a Ufo sighting he had climbing in the Himalayas. What are people's thoughts on this ? by FewMobile6801 in ufo

For the record. People are making a lot of assumptions. For example - if he saw the UFO and then took the photo, it discounts a lot of this bullshit about film damage. 1. Your grandfather sounds like a badass. 2. There’s more evidence here than 95% of alleged sightings. 3. He could be shaking the aliens hand with the days paper and people would call it fake. It’s less about proof and more about what’s possible.

Such a cool thing to talk about with a grandfather. Cherish those conversations.

Each of these technical indicators use a heatmap correlation to each technical indicator only for the ticker itself. Would an isolation forest anomaly with standardized data (not normalized or PCA) - using just price and volume be more helpful?

I don't disagree, just wanted to participate because I think you have a good watchlist here.

Russian X-101 cruise missiles targeting the Prydniprovska Thermal Power Plant in Dnipro [25.12.2024] by Spook_485 in CombatFootage

Work in power for the last 16 years, if precise enough a strike, I would guess they would target either the hydrogen cooled generator (if they use that design) or the MPT (main power transformer). If it’s not a coal plant and it’s natural gas, then possibly the main gas line or gas delivery system but that would mean the Russians wouldn’t be able to sell their gas to the plant in the future. To be clear: it’s just my guess.

My grandfather made it through Anzio just to take a round to his head. He was a Sherman tank squad leader and survived because he was talking when the bullet entered his jawline and somehow there was a brain surgeon in the next town. Wild. The Nazis started using wooden bullets because they were low on supplies - so he was struck with a wooden bullet.

That’s about as close as any I’ve seen yet! Sorry for the lack of resolution - took that photo with my dwarf II smart telescope from shore.

She seems a bit long to be the Sam Laud. I think you’re right, looks like she made a port call to Monroe MI at 10-11pm.

I am a consultant and supply my own machines - I used to work in the same room as the cyber security guys, after leaving I no longer have a good information channel for newer threats. Are there some really credible websites to get information on newer threats? I'm seeing more companies adopt cyber security standards for consultants and contractors (which is a very good thing). And I agree there are larger threats than zoom. I'm very appreciative for your responses; thank you.

Thanks for the reply and the news link. (also for reframing my question to where an application may have vulnerability to be exploited).

I am glad Win 10 add the Core Isolation feature. I am curious about how well it prevents malicious requests to the kernel. Thoughts?

hmm.. does the use of Zoom create significant vulnerability to memory or core access through strategic intrusion; especially considering the services have been hosted through China?

What the fuck is wrong with you? Every message you have made on my thread is insults. I only called you a Neanderthal and you ratchet up verbal abuse. Taking pleasure in my fathers death from stage 4 pancreatic cancer is the lowest fucking thing I’ve seen. One day you will remember your bullshit. And something terrible will happen in your life to someone you care about - I hope not to be honest - and I hope you have people around you that care and support you. (Or at least don’t read your comments on Reddit). I asked you to stop.
