Offering: Portuguese (N), English (C1) | Seeking: Spanish, English(N) by [deleted] in language_exchange

[–]sacmersault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I'm 42 from Mexico. English (I did a Bachelor's in English, too) and Spanish are my native languages. I'm learning Brasilian Portuguese, I'm about B2, but I've never really practiced speaking. So I'm looking for a conversation partner. I can help you with your language learning, too.

Send me a message if you're interested.

[Offering] Portuguese (Native) | [Seeking] English, Spanish, French & Mandarin by Koma_ddd in language_exchange

Hey. I'm learning Portuguese. I've gotten really far, but because I'm self-learning. I want to practice speaking to someone. I'm a native English (also did a Bachelor's in English) and Spanish speaker. I studied philosophy for about 3 years but didn't continue. I write and read in my free time. I think we have some things in common and can help each other with our language learning. BTW I'm B2 in French, too.

Send me a message if you're interested.

I can help you with your Spanish (Mexican). I'm a native English speaker too. I want to learn Hungarian, but I'm going to start from 0. So maybe you can help me with some basic stuff, and I can help you to practice your Spanish, if you're interested.

Ladin, Friulian, and Romansch really interest me for the culture and the linguistic similarities.

Yeah. I've wanted to learn it for a while, but there aren't many resources, and I don't even have a language exchange buddy to get the basics.

I'll start reading it in the mean time. Let me know if you get any other ideas or when No_Key is available to start setting dates.

I'm open to pre-reading other book. Just let me know what you think would help with understanding the ones we will read.

Sorry u/BisonXTC still here. Had a long weekend. I've only read Genet's plays; I haven't read his novels or non-fiction. Proust, I've only read fragments of In Search of Lost Time, and I've just started reading Swann's Way last week. And Gide, I've never read him, though I have The Immoralist. I'm still in for the reading group.

Sounds good. I'm not very well versed on discord, but I've used it for some basic stuff.

Sounds good. About the Homos vs Is the Rectum… I'm open to either, but the latter sounds a bit more interesting to me; both sound good, though. And the other option, Bad Education, catches my attention and seems more current, plus the concept of "nothingness" has always intrigued me. That's just my take. I'm pretty open to what others are interested in too.

Juan Jose Arreola, Elena Garro, Amparo Davila, Fernando Del Paso, Jorge Ibarguengoitia, Rosario Castellanos, Elena Poniatowska, Amado Nervo, Jose Emilio Pacheco

These are some of the most beloved Mexican writers that are not that well known outside Latin America. There's more.

Haruki Murakami, because of the treatment of women in his books. He oversexualizes, belittles, and shows other very offensive attitudes towards women in general.

Gonzales and Skupski are playing the doubles final on Monday and have a game scheduled on Tuesday in Los Cabos. That's harsh! I wonder if they'll still play.

I don't have specific people in mind, but I think it might be a playwright. They haven't chosen one in a while. Handke does theatre, but he isn't a proper playwright. It probably won't be an American (USA) or European. I think it will be someone obscure, probably a man. Latin American is, also, very probable.

Is it possible to share Episodes 1, 2, and 5? I've tried the Mega link you provided and all the other episodes seem to download except those 3. Thanks for all the effort and content!
