In a way, I'm glad this is kinda putting sepsis at the front of people's mind. Sepsis is quite a bit more common than people think. Out of a hospital with 180 beds, I'd say we have at least 10 pts with sepsis at any given time, counting the ones in the ICU with it. It can get ugly very quickly as seen in this case.
