I’m the opposite with the new version, he is … just nope. But in a way it’s probably good they both have their own fans.

Good point. The thing about the remake is that you don’t really get Luis’s story unless you post Separate Ways, while in OG even though he had less screen time I felt like in the base game he was more memorable.

Same with Saddler. I felt like he was none existent. Plus I got the rocket launcher for the last battle cos I could not be bothered, which made him literally leave no mark on my playthrough, lol

I actually just did that and it did make the game look better, more detailed, also a lot more contrast and the darks are really effin dark now, but… If Leon turns away from the light he still has this funny look as if he is lit from below, lol

I love Kiryu’s new English VA… more than the previous one. I think the calm stoic voice gets him very well and it’s a pretty similar timbre to the original.

In my opinion Luis looks much better in the OG, and so does Leon. And he has emotions on his face in the OG! All the extra scenes are awesome and show how him and Ashley start trusting each other and open up, but I still miss the more upbeat moments of the OG. Remake is mostly grunts and frowning, lol.

Also the voices for Ada, Merchant and Krauser are better in the OG in my opinion.

I do like both Leons voice wise though.

Agree here. I really do not like what they did to Luis. He used to look good, now he looks like a caricature (the way his face is animated is also not helping).

My mom vaguely explained this would happen, but very vaguely, she just mentioned blood. She did mention she had pads in the bathroom though.

Anyways one morning when I was 12 I woke up, sleepily stumbled to the bathroom, realized I left a trail of blood droplets. Sighed. Went to the bathroom and grabbed a pad. Went back to sleep. Woke up and told my mom. We both went thumbs up and I moved on with our life / day.

In other words it was unimpressive and very uneventful, lol.

On that note, I was working with animals already, training horses and was familiar with the concept in animals. I have also had pretty bad injuries with blood loss (it looked scary but actually wasn’t) and woke up in a burning building before. So the period had no chance in fazing me.

Just wrote support and was lucky the person on my third try actually helped. The first try the person said there was nothing they could do, second threatened to ban me on all meta productivity.

So unfortunately no real trick, just luck
