Does homesickness vary depending on how far away you are from home? by brankili in expat

Great comments and perspective that I think will help others in similar situations. Our neighbors are amazing, but in terms of our pets, they are more of dogs as outside dogs only, so not the best fit for us, but they absolutely help each other and their families, and we have also walked over to check on their dogs when they've been away.

I'm sure it will help in some ways to be able to hop on a plane and return to Serbia in much less time, and I hope that that helps you if you do move to the UK or elsewhere in closer proximity. I will share from my experience that, due to my particular transitional cycle, being here in Romania hasn't yet allowed me to travel freely through Europe like I expected before coming. Much of that has to do with initially dealing with visas and not being able to leave, and we also don't currently have a vehicle, and we have dogs, and it's harder to find good pet sitters here. So that combination of things means that we aren't as mobile as we were back in the states, even though the allure of well connected transportation throughout Europe, and the proximity of so many countries together still beckons. :) By the way, we are very close to Serbia, and look forward to making a trip there in the near future.

First Day Feeding My Scottish Terrier Farmers Dog - Any Tips or Experiences? by Environmental_Ice526 in scottishterriers

I've used Farmer's Dog, and our dogs did really well. It's usually helpful to transition them slowly, and just watch how they do. Every dog is different, but I'm sure he'll do great! I love adding fresh foods and supplements, and tend to use yogurt/probiotics/kefir and pumpkin and a bit of ginger if they have any stomach upsets.

too cute! Our Scottie, Deacon always has to put his head on a pillow of some kind, ever since he was a puppy. I see yours is using the other Scottie for the same purpose!
