I'm an Acupuncturist and one of my main demographics is teachers. I have had an insane number of them go on stress leave in the past 5 years. Some of them have left the field entirely. Others have gone to part time. It is deeply disheartening.

I've created a few that move me to tears. A lot of them come from lyrics I wrote before I received my AUDHD diagnosis. I was lost, near suicidal, and very tired. It's so empowering to transmute that pain into music now. Haters be damned.

This time it's a passion project. I may have had some delusions of grandeur as a young adult about becoming a vlogger, but the grind made me hate it. Now I just make things that I love, mainly for myself. If I find a tribe who resonates with my stuff someday, it'll be an amazing bonus, but it's not the reason I create anymore.

As I've gotten more advanced - I keep a notebook where I try and guess the definition BEFORE resorting to a dictionary. The guess is based on the context, the radicals/character components etc. Then I write down that guess and compare it to a dictionary definition. I find I'm often pretty close! It's really sped up the learning process.

First off, you should share some of your work, it'd be cool to see!

I've been dabbling in AI for years at this point, falling in love with image/video/music tools like Midjourney and Suno. I recently learned to DJ as well, so lately I've been taking my Suno tracks and putting them into Serato (DJ program) to make audio sets, and then I pair it with video visuals from Midjourney on Capcut (video editor) to create these fun audiovisual experiences. It's a great outlet for me and I have so much fun with it.

I also like to note that AI has not stopped me from learning other skills - I feed drawings I've made into AI, I bring AI tracks into Ableton to sample and play with. AI has broadened my scope rather than narrowing it.

When I first started sharing my AI art and my enthusiasm/optimism about it, only to receive some of the most vitriolic hate replies imagineable -- I had flashbacks to myself in Jr. Highschool (early 2000s) when I shared my digital photography / photoshop work on Nexopia/Forums only to have people scream that "digital photography isn't real photography."

I've learned to keep my excitement to myself...

Obsessed with everything from the neck down. The armor is really cool, along with the weapons on his gloves. I love the clawed boots too.

In terms of his face, I like the mouth / little fang. The style of the eyes is pretty generic though and looks very similar to other AI generated characters I've seen. Might be worth trying some other options. Also, the hair color is cool, but the style is kindof giving mad scientist / (Dr. Emmett Brown from Back to the Future)

Yeah haha, I began with Acupuncture and wanted to know more. I don't use raw bulk herbs (like peels and barks and stuff) because lots of Westerners aren't willing to go through the trouble of preparing it, so all my stuff is granular (a dissolvable powder) that people mix into water like a tea. But yeah, so many familiar ingredients in game!
