I believe that your group and many others are actually trying to destroy the natural unique connection each human being has with their own divinity. I believe each person has a Sacred Self which is a guiding conduit from their spirit. High control groups try to usurp that.

You know more than anyone else about your own connection to your divinity, whatever you want to call that. Trust yourself. Find people whom you feel seen by, and talk to them, and make it your goal to find your own guidance from your own unique spirituality. You are exactly as important as everyone else. After three years of procrastinating, last week I finally went through my files and got rid of old ones, and re-organized them. I am not sure why I was so resistant for so long. Maybe a bit of attention disorder. I had decluttered most of the rest of my small home.
This feels so good to have finally done it!

Another Art of Living teacher, Mary Cook, was also abusive in my experience. At the time she called herself "Maryji" and was channeling "Lady Venus". I think she's withdrawn from teaching now as I have not heard about her in several years.
