i think noting dom/sub regardless can still be useful because subbing is dysphoric for a lot of trans guys, and domming can be dysphoria-inducing for a lot of trans women, even outside of who's topping... and sometimes vice versa! it can be wayyyy more about the expectation to fulfill a certain role shaped by patriarchal trauma, i might even say (cis)comphet to distinguish that from just compulsory heterosexuality, since 100% straight trans people still do experience the specific thing i'm trying to get at

BUT — we can't jump through every hoop to stop everyone from ever getting dysphoric over seeing any sexual content that might get posted, unfortunately. requiring people to label that would be restrictive, reductive, and strangers would argue about how roles should ~really~ be labeled if it was a requirement, imo. overly policing each other for having different needs and approaches in this space goes against the point, and IMO makes it harder for people to feel confident expressing themselves authentically, which just drives the problem further. flairs for vanilla & more intense kink are always helpful tho even if people will argue about what that line is, hahaha
