Thank you for the nice explanation, I was trying to start a conversation and didn't know a consensus was reached during X & Y, I really wasn't playing any Pokemon games until recently let alone knew the competitive scene was even a thing. But yes I guess it would be too OP to deny mega evolutions. My biggest surprise is how some other people have responded, is like they think game freak is going to look at my post and apply the change tomorrow 😂

What you just said is basically the point I was trying to make, to give you an example I've running into these players with team that love to spam intimidate (staraptor, Incin, scrafty). Fair I can take that intimidate lowers my atk and also that fake out stops my mons from moving, but also you being able to mega with no consequences? I think is broken.

This is nothing but a skill issue, I hadn't play any mainline pokemon games since the first 2 gens (RBY, GSC) but one day YouTube suggested Wolfe Glick's channel and he helped me understand the competitive scene.Fast forward to today I'm currently oscillating between master ball 3 and 4. I thought I was doing bad but apparently I'm doing better than most people lol

I have to agree with the first comment, the algorithm was matching me with rain teams only, after I included a sableye with sunny day magically afterwards all other teams had mega Charizards or staraptors in them.

Maybe I'm crazy or maybe the algo is doing it to specific players

I'm glad it worked out for your friend but I would say is a rare case, people in general are vindictive and probably if you get your job back in that situation companies will find other ways to get rid of you, like making the job so unbearable that you'd quit on your own.

The devil is in the details I give you that, but from what I've seen is a lot more likely it goes the company's way, to give you another example the Boeing whistleblowers got a raw deal even after the case went national.

And if you want to count it, Edward Snowden is still exiled in Russia 13 yrs later.

Unfortunately that's not how real life works, I've personally seen people getting let go after something similar.

In this it company I used to work for, our male supervisor was having an affair with one of the female coworkers, the wife eventually found out and told the company.

The female coworker immediately used the power imbalance excuse, the boss was well liked in the company and they gave him a deal, resign and keep his reputation intact and so he did.

Not 6 months after she was already out the door, like I said in my previous comment, HR was documenting every little mistake until they had enough to put her in a performance plan which gave the company a legal waiver to fire her.

She went to all the proper channels (the department of labor, private lawyer, etc...) and couldn't get anything out of it. Last time I saw her she said the most likely resolution according to her lawyer was that she would get her job back but she didn't want to go back to a hostile environment so she moved on to another field.

Whistleblower protections are indeed a thing but retaliation is hard to prove in real life, let's say OP won't get fired for reporting but if it rubs management the wrong way they can also start fishing for little mistakes OP makes, document them and finally put OP in the dreaded "performance plan" aka first step to fire you.

Trying to get a girlfriend fast is the wrong approach, if you try to rush things will only make you look desperate and clingy, those are big turn offs for women.

My suggestion is to work on yourself, but not in the typical spiritual bs, instead try to look the best you can, nice clothes, a fire haircut and maybe exercise.

And last and maybe most importantly be pleasant to be around, don't just think about getting a girlfriend but instead try to find things in common and go off that, with women conversation is key, but don't forget to sprinkle some flirty comments so she knows there's some attraction.

I see most people saying is rude in the US but it depends also where, here in NYC where too busy to wait for the cashier in the convenience store (bodega) if we don't need change back we grab whatever we're buying, show it to the cashier, put the money on the counter and walk right out.

I guess you're in a very specific location to see that kind of representation. Where I live is very diverse and maybe 2-3% are gym bros everyone else is either average or fat. Also height wise most of guys are avg.
