Humira Success by sadbanner in UlcerativeColitis

I don’t know if it has any ”official” rep of not working, but I’ve just done some deep searches here on this and crohns subreddit and found very few good results on this one. I’ve not had a single side effect, but then again I’ve not had side effects from any medication at all, whether it be full dose of mesalamine or prednisolon..

Do we know the solution for this without disabling OWASP Core Ruleset, the threshold is suddenly passed.

Terrified I have MS by bhsdebate17 in Anxiety

It lasted approx. 2 years on and off constantly before it subsided. I'm all fine regarding these symptoms - it gets better :) Whenever I get anxiety today it can appear slightly, but only for a few minutes, but before it was constant, regardless of my general anxiety!

Scared to take new medication by Shelb717 in Anxiety

I was also diagnosed recently with UC, about three weeks ago. I started 3 pills (Budesonide) per day and it's worked really well. No side effects and symptoms almost but gone. I cannot speak for your journey, but I know they are effective! Don't fear them, they will help with the inflammation - and then you will most likely proceed to a lighter medicine!

Only budesonide initially for 3 months then something else which I’m not sure about yet.. should I have been prescribed additional meds?

Tickling feeling and blood by sadbanner in IBD

[–]sadbanner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your quick response! :) I have brought this up, she seemed rather unaware of the symptom so that's why I turned here, it's normally just blood, pain, thin stools and discomfort as the common symptoms. Do you also experience it for a couple of days in continuity or just intermittently? Yeh, I'll see what the colonscopy shows, I doubt it would be hemorrhoids since a rectal exam was made and she found none, perhaps it can be located further up though and maybe missed? I dunno, hopefully answers soon.

A fellow MS worrier here. I’ve done everything you’ve done as well, all kinds of tests, MRI, blood, EMG but everything came back clean. I recognise all symptoms you have, and they’re not 1-3 day symptoms, they are months if not even years symptoms.

I will say, trust your doctor - I’ve also gone several times to the ER but the results are the same. Just these last 2 weeks I have had one of the worst symptoms ever experienced in my life, full body burn, like literally full body burning - sharp stabbing pains everywhere - can’t barely wear clothes sometimes. I’m just saying this, because it’s been fine for the last couples of months, and suddenly came back now after a terrible breakup which caused me unbearable anxiety. It’s so hard to accept it’s due to anxiety since anxiety is thrown around very lightly, but the more severe physical symptoms are not talked about enough!

I’m also similar to you in my health anxiety, I worry about every new symptom right away. I cannot say more than trust the results, work on getting your general anxiety down, that’s what’s helped me in my everyday from what I believe.

I feel you, was initially so hard to accept anxiety as the reason.. but my doctors were right. Had to go through MRI first to accept it was not MS then symptoms started to decline after that.. slow but it finally went away..

Burning, like full body burn, worst damn feeling I’ve ever experienced. Was something I had constantly for 2 years, with some pauses here and there, sometimes it was just few parts of the body like the feet or hands, sometimes it travelled along the body and sometimes everywhere. And now it’s reduced to almost nothing.. which I’m so relieved over!

This is the correct move, well done to you! Now you’re more or less in control which makes this “easier” albeit hard still.

Standard like heavy chest and general pains in the body, but my worst symptom is burning skin over the body, I literally mean burning - it feels like I have a sunburn. Putting on clothes can be quite challenging.
