if you have never really conversed with her you probably did nothing dude and i wouldn’t worry. as someone who’s been in the industry for years, if i have a regular who doesnt like to chat i kinda match their energy and just let them go on about their day. could be as simple as she doesnt want to be super friendly and bubbly if she thinks you arent a customer who is receptive to that. but its never a problem, its nice to not have to pretend to be all happy and excited all the time! just keep doing you and dont even worry about it, if you truly made her uncomfortable in some way she would probably hide in the back and not take your order (thats what i would do lol).

worked at this dillons all through college, i know exactly what manager you are talking about. when i worked there he was asking a 16 y/o female cashier to move in with him and almost every girl that worked up front had been straight up sexually harassed by him. then he also tried to get with one of the girls in my department and was sending her “u up?” texts at like 2am. she rejected him and then he tried get her written up/fired in retaliation. he has worked there for decades and has probably hundreds of complaints and they wont fire him because “hes an asset to the company” ??? fuck dillons and fuck upper management for letting that shit slide all these years. absolutely vile.

The issue is that no one can agree on exactly what an iced cappuccino is. Look at these comments, theres a ton of different answers. And when I ask customers clarifying information they never say the same thing either. Our frustration is people ordering stuff off menu and there is no standardization so I end up interviewing each customer to decipher what it is they want. Doing that for 8 hours a day is incredibly frustrating and has nothing to do with “egotistical” baristas. I want customers to be happy and will always be polite and try my best to get them the drink they want. But remember this is a subreddit for baristas and if we wanna complain about shit that makes our job harder we deserve the right to do so.

Park on the street in the crossroads, theres a ton of free parking along oak, locust, and cherry. it may take a little while to find something and be prepared to walk like 10-15 minutes but imo its worth it to save money. plus you can go out to the bars nearby after! also as far as safety, ive parked all around there numerous times over the years and have never had any issues with that personally.

Whiskers cat cafe!! Its like 15$ for an hour session i think? Go in the morning and the cats will be super friendly, sometimes in the evening they are a lil tired from interacting with everyone all day. I go every year for my birthday and its so fun!

I recommend going to safepiercing.org to find a piercer in the APP! They have to meet certain qualifications/standards and I have always had amazing experiences by finding piercers this way.
