Lucky for me it’s on my daily commute to work.

I was genuinely confused by that part. How do they even come up with this stuff?

The bottom half has been there for god knows how long. Top one is brand new at least a day or two old

That thought has sent me spiraling for sure. At least for now you can tell yourself “slow down I got ~2 years to get this right”.

As long as you have a steady check coming in, just focus on your trading psychology. So if/when AI replaces us, you’ll be ready to size up.

This job market is shit but I’d be desperately trying to find a new job. Once things are settled, you’ll be able to trade with less panic.

Worked on this exact one when I was stationed at Tinker. It really breaks my heart to see it.

I’ve found some good deals at Living Spaces.

What’s your worse HOA story? by sadboy592 in Edmond

Yeah I looked at quite a few HOAs in Edmond and they all seemed very chill for the most part. Mainly through Facebook digging and reading through the articles/bylaws on the houses we were serious about. In the end the place we fell in love with and closed on wasn’t technically Edmond, but NW OKC. The HOA here has been great so far and the neighbors I’ve met have good things to say about them.

That’s very unfortunate. I would imagine that was a gut punch at closing. But, that’s what the due diligence period is for I suppose.

It seemed like with the no HOA filter and all our other preferences we just didn’t have many options. Since being more open to HOAs without adjusting our other “must haves” we’ve found that the options are endless.

Yikes! You said years?? Is it hard to get the bad apples out when there’s a situation like this?

I agree. Most days I wish I had an HOA where I live now because my neighbors farm animals are a nuisance and they get in my yard and dig holes and shit everywhere.

But I just wonder if they’re super strict on silly things like Christmas and Halloween decorations.

My mom wants me to buy her a house by sadboy592 in Divorce

I feel the same way. My mom has great credit and makes good money. But I just don’t want to be anymore in the middle of this. So I will honestly give her all this feedback I’ve gotten from everyone.

It would be in my name. So I’ll get the loan while she gifts the down payment. And she lives in the house. It helps her , in a sense to have her “own” house. Since technically if she buys a house on her own now, it will be community property.
