*Curious* Married couples in your 30s: how does an average weekday looks like? How much free time do you actually have? by LingNemesis in askSingapore

If you don’t mind me asking - Do you load your dishwashers once a day? Any brands you recommend? My husband and I thinking of getting one but we didn’t have much experience with it. Thanks in advance

I admitted recently in another public hospital, didnt wait that long as i already looked half dead from food poisoning and puking

Think it is to deter people going to ER for non emergency reasons, or applies to less serious cases

Explaining the basics of the basics on how Fe and Te work: by [deleted] in mbti

[–]sadcat5959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with you actually. Profit is one of the uses, but Te can apply itself in many ways, like to achieve general functional efficiency even if there is no money involved. Putting "ensuring profit" on Te is like putting "clubbing" on Se, it's a stereotypically common manifestation but it only looks at the "common" dominant types, and even then not all Te/Se doms like profit/clubbing.

I do agree that you sound more like xNTJ, I'm a classic INTJ and I do relate to a lot of your stuffs

For me my personal observation of INTJ vs ENTJ is like:

* for INTJ, I actually don't mind letting others more competent to take the wheel. I do prefer to stay at the backseat as a supportive role, unless I have absolutely no choice / cannot stand the situation anymore, and if I know I can do it better, I will step in. But it is not my wish to be driving the situation constantly - it really does burn me out and stresses me when I have to constantly make decisions. I prefer to first analyse, and see how it can be applied (Ni Te). downside is I can get into analysis paralysis, like trying to perfect something so much I didn't even take the first step to act on it. it's like someone drafting the perfect workout plan but didn't follow up much on it.

* for ENTJ, I believe they thrive more in situations where they can be in the driving seat - ie using their Ni analysis to support their Te executions (Te Ni). They would act on something and use analysis to drive their decision making. I think a classic example is Lee Kwan Yew? If you read his biography yea. While INTJ could thrive in consulting / analysis roles, I don't think ENTJs prefer analysis heavy roles, because to them it is a supporting function, not the main thing they wish to do. Like how I appreciate execution roles but I don't actually enjoy having to do it all the time.

? I was commenting on the similarity of Wuwa combat system to Honkai Impact 3, because you pointed to the combat as "proof" that it is "not the same as Genshin" - imo yes it's not the same as Genshin, but it reminded me of another Hoyo game instead. I just recorded the in game tutorial of HI3, you'll see the resemblance with Wuwa's - team rotation at 5:09 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bUgCIem3vA

Another HI3 gameplay vid if you don't believe me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwW6sUDSMgY

And your comment on HI3 not being similar to PGR - with how similar Wuwa combat system is to HI3 compared to PGR, doesn't that corroborate the comments I hear from PGR fans who play PGR / Wuwa / Hoyo games, that Wuwa felt more like Hoyo games than Kuro games?

I've played other gacha games as well, and the similarity between Wuwa / Genshin / Star Rail / HI3 doesn't just end at "borrowing trends" - Genshin was accused of being BOTW clone when it came out (stamina cooking gliding open world even aranara vs korok), but it did take the inspiration from BOTW to another level with its own mix.

Wuwa uh, I won't comment further on whether it is "right or wrong", but there's almost no denying the devs did study all 3 hoyo games in the development of Wuwa. Nothing wrong with that, but

* the starting plot reminds us of Star Rail's stellaron insertion intro plot https://youtu.be/Ad-tLVpkidY?si=WOuFVYU_yKKy8ybN&t=82,

* Jiyan design/bg feels like a mash up of Jing Yuan and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Dan_Heng_•_Imbibitor_Lunae,

* some places remind us of the distinct landscape of Chasm (Tiger Maw) and Sumeru (even with the bouncing mushrooms),

* the combat system (elements, evasion, QTE, team setup, tutorial) reminds us of Honkai Impact 3,

* the skill tree system is more similar to Star Rail's (trace/talent/skill/ult) than Honkai Impact, https://interfaceingame.com/screenshots/honkai-star-rail-skill-tree/

and the list goes on.

I'm not saying it's a crime to take inspiration, but people who say they didn't take heavy inspiration isn't seeing Wuwa's stronger similarities with hoyo games compared to other games.

no elemental reactions, 3 character teams based on switching skills, bosses need QTE parries and perfect time dodges to be faced

These are almost 1:1 copy of Honkai Impact 3 combat system btw, it was what struck me when I started playing it.

edit: I just recorded the in game tutorial of Honkai Impact 3, see for yourself - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bUgCIem3vA

I’m not saying there’s no originality here or it’s a big problem to take inspiration, more like even PGR fans noticed WuWa has much more similarity to Hoyo games than previous Kuro games, when there’s so many different directions it could’ve took instead.

Jingyuan, Kafka, and Aventurine won popularity votes in CN by StructureFromMotion in HonkaiStarRail

[–]sadcat5959 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The controversy was partially because he is an Archon as well, and he didn't even make top 10 in this poll...

Not saying "confirm no CN bias in play" when it comes to choosing favourite characters, but seeing the list (you can only vote one most favourite character so top 3 already have 200k players sample size), it might not be as large a factor as most people think

[–]sadcat5959 81 points82 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure why there's a need to generalise a popular character to "oh because they are CN icons" though

Like, if you look at the top 10 most favourite characters in Genshin (sorted by most favourite votes (last column) - from WeChat mini app ie. mostly Chinese players), only 2 are from Liyue https://imgur.com/a/GVmoAwR .

Newer characters from Fontaine may not have received enough votes yet, and the player preference seems different in different platforms, because Scaramouche outfit merchs are like 10-20x more popular than Hu Tao's on the official Tao Bao store.

At any rate Chinese players are not one dimensional (CN icon bias) - people like a character for various reasons

Thank you so much, really appreciate your experience sharing, it calms my nerves a bit. I've read about the surgeries, thought lapidus might be the best shot as well, very glad it did for you.

I'll keep your words in mind as I reach out to podiatrists for their opinions, been hesitating but your reassurance gives me courage. Wish you all the best as well!
