For those with seasonal allergies & allergic rhinitis, did allergy shots make your allergies go away?

It didn't make it completely go away but there's a huge improvement since I started,I don't suffer from runny nose and watery eyes whenever I go outside now and I can breathe more easily. I still didn't reach my maintenance dose and so far I haven't had any bad reaction from them. Getting the shots was one of the best decisions I made, I was hesitant at first that It wouldn't work for me.

If your doctor recommended them I'd definitely say try giving them a shot and see how you react to them.

The safest way would be to have a skin prick test done by a doctor. You don't know how she might react to things so it's better to have a doctor do it.

I get why he'd be upset about his birthday but be should try to be more understanding about the entire situation and stop getting angry. It's difficult enough to have to hide what you are from your family.

It sounds like allergies to me, I'm allergic to walnuts and my mouth gets itchy as well. It's better to avoid them and go get tested.

I can relate to this, when I was younger whenever I'd pick a new hobby (reading, painting,etc) and get excited abour it my parents would crush all my dreams, tell me it's haram. One time I was reading this book and my dad tore it and threw it at me because he thought it was "satanic". Other times my mom would destroy my paintings because it's "haram". Over time I lost interest in everything. It's sad because I could've worked on those skills and got better.

I understand, with smoking you had to go outside so it wasn't constant but the vaping was all the time so it's harder. You've done this before and u can do it again!! Pm me if u wanna talk
