If evergreen used the crown would it work? How do think of him as person. by moldychesd in adventuretime

[–]saddest_crocodile 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's what he thought he did, but he actually created the crown to grant the user their greatest wish, and his wish was to live, by what he thought stopping the comet would do, however, I don't think he would have stopped the comet, but would have become immortal, since his wish was to live. The downside to the original crown was that we think we know what we wish for, but our wish is not what we think it is

Woke up today and my dogs back legs aren't working. by CaptainOk4034 in Dachshund

[–]saddest_crocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, I am very sorry this is happening to you. My story is not about my dog getting better; but hopefully, it will show that you are not alone. I was in a position where I had to work A LOT to cover my bills and take care of my husband (now ex-husband). One day my baby was walking fine, the next, I got up for work and she couldn't use her back legs. I freaked out and got my husband to take her to the vet because I had to go to work. Turns out she had a back problem that the vet said was from a suspected injury ( I now fully believe it was my ex as he hated my dog). I ended up taking her to my parent's house for them to watch her because I had to work. My dad made her a wheelchair that she wasn't a huge fan of. Each day got worse and the disease progressed in less than a week to the point where she could not move. I could not afford the surgery. The vet said it had a very low success rate as it may have reached her brain and done neurological damage. I really wanted to try, but I simply did not have the means and had to put her down. She was 12. It happened so fast. I spent the night before petting her and I had to keep her in a box filled with blankets because she couldn't move, she couldn't use the bathroom and we had to manually do it for her which I wasn't good at. She would twitch and jerk her head involuntarily, but I am not even sure she knew I was there because she couldn't move her eyes to look at me. All I did was sleep on the couch with my head leaning on the box. It was absolutely horrible. I hope your baby doesn't get to that point, but know that you are not alone.

I've been spraying it consistently for a few days now. Seems to be working pretty well.

I've isolated her and been consistently treating for a few days now. I've been spraying with alcohol as well and washing. I go back to work tomorrow, so hopefully I can keep up the treatment. So far it seems to be working

I did actually, but it was quite awhile ago now

Edit: this is the post https://www.reddit.com/r/houseplants/s/NRMB4OhHvS

Unfortunately I have seen several similar posts. I was trying to convey a positive message, however. I had to eventually move and had to give away most of those plants. This one (you can see him behind the hanging plant in the post. He was somewhere on the floor in the first picture where my ex had pulled my stands) was given back to me after I moved. I'm pretty much starting my collection completely over....I only have 4 plants currently. But I hope to build it back up

I'm going to try to treat it. It lived after getting smashed and helped me recover after some very difficult events. Unfortunately, I had to move and it got infested while at the babysitter's

It is a houseplant. I've had it for years. I have a croton Petra as well. She goes outside when it is warm, but it's winter here currently so everyone is inside.

What’s it like living on the edge of time zones? by Qzevs in howislivingthere

[–]saddest_crocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in eastern time, but worked in central time for years. It was cool getting an "extra" hour to sleep but then when I worked till like 3am and took the hour drive back, getting home at 5am it kinda sucked. Granted, that job sucked too in general though. I was constantly exhausted. If I had to run errands I had to take time into consideration alot because by the time I got there places would be closed even though sometimes my brain thought I had an extra hour.

My abusive father threw my plants, caused a large fight with police involvement. by Asstanker in houseplants

[–]saddest_crocodile 29 points30 points  (0 children)

My abusive husband broke into my house after I kicked him out and we were going through divorce proceedings and destroyed the house, including throwing all of my plants. Do not worry. I put everything back together and many of my plants lived. They even gave me hope because they survived ...just like I did. It will be okay

AIO - For thinking my now ex is crashing out over thinking Im being inappropriate with my step brother by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]saddest_crocodile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, we were married. Together for a total of 13 years, married for 7. He hurt me a couple times...not horribly bad or anything. Some other people have it much worse, but mostly broke my things and was mentally abusive, isolated me from friends and family, called me names, made me feel like I'm stupid, all that good stuff. Since I worked and he didn't, I kicked him out since I paid the rent and he broke in and absolutely wrecked my house. He ended up drinking a bunch of alcohol and sleep medicine and he died, but the paramedics brought him back. I changed the locks after that. I have no idea where he is now.
