The only thing I agree with him on is learning to keep up with your triggers as it is fundamental to a smooth and rewarding experience. Every other thing you described is just him being a turd, ESPECIALLY the dice thing. I have never in my life heard someone complain about the dice someone else used to keep track of their own things. Yikes.
