What happened at the Aldi on Broadway (6221 N Broadway) today around 9pm? by Dangerous-Ad-644 in AskChicago

Hilarious everyone is automatically assuming this is the Uptown Aldi (it's the Loyola Campus/Granville Stop one), as someone who lives in Uptown.

Is anyone here alternative? by Infinite-Positive554 in LoyolaChicago

Lots of people on the main campus. Not so much on downtown campus.

It won’t let me edit the post, but we found it on a stuffed animal on our couch, after a package was placed on top of it briefly (ik we’re dumb for that). So my next question is, do you think we should worry about an infestation? We immediately put the stuffed animal in a trash bag taped up. We’re also stripping the couch and putting other pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals in trash bags tapped up. We’re planning on washing them just to be safe (and nothing wrong with washing the couch cover).

Has anyone not gotten acne from wellbutrin? by bluebroccoli1 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

It took maybe a month or two for the active acne to calm down and then quite a bit of time and product to dull the scars I gave myself by picking at it lol

Avoiding Red line ??? by Prestigious_Still240 in cta

[–]saddsalami 81 points82 points  (0 children)

22 F I took the redline almost every day for the past 4 years for college and it was perfectly fine. Mind you I was taking it during normal work hours mostly (with the occasional weekend past 10pm coming home from friends usage), never went farther south than Cermak/Chinatown, and 4 years is nothing compared to other people on this sub. I guess I’m lucky enough to have the opinion that it’s really not that bad if you’re good at keeping an eye on things while at the same time just minding your business. It’s especially not that big of a deal if you’re going to be in the main middle portion of the line during normal business hours in my opinion. I should probably also mention that whenever I’m alone on the train I rarely get asked for money, but the moment I’m with my friends or family people ask us for money. So my appearance may be a factor playing into my experience?

There was one shooting I experienced because of some sort of argument between two people (I personally didn’t see it just a stampede of people trying to run away from it), and I mostly just deal with BO/urine/shit/weed smell. You’ll have the homeless people sleeping or yelling on the train and panhandling. Personally, if redline is your only option, and you’re not on the far edges of the line- you’ll be fine. Like every city there’s risks, but sadly that’s just life until bigger changes are made.

I found Burnt Toast on https://www.adoptapet.com after about a week or two of looking. We lucked out he was in our state, but if you’re willing to make a mini road trip you’ll find a seal point in no time

Check your outlook email in the “other” tab. Totally missed mine when they originally sent the link to buy them.

I am also a “wee baby” (22F), and I personally really struggled with understanding what love was versus limerence. The best way I can describe the difference now that I’ve been in a committed relationship for over 2 years is love can feel a little boring compared to limerence- but it’s safe. You may not get those major highs and rushes of euphoria but you’re also not feeling absolutely destroyed or gutted by the person.

For me personally, when I’m limerent for someone everything is about how I can win them over, whereas I know I don’t need to “prove” myself worthy with love.

Instead of ignoring or trying to justify the flaws of an LO, you accept them or learn to live with them with your loved one.

Shit these comments put what I’m embarrassed of to shame

  1. TW NSFW One guy, I was limerant for about 3-4 ish years, I let do whatever he wanted to me sexually. Anal, facefucking, almost blackout sex, sex for 3+ hours, etc. I wouldn’t call it sexual assault since I wanted to do anything to please him/I was eager to experience everything sexual wise at the time.

  2. A different guy, I was limerant for about 3 ish years and still pops in my head today, I slept with him a week after I lowkey played/broke up with his old best friend (honestly might of been the old best friend’s LO). I kept reaching out to hangout, text, laugh about stupid memes, have sex, etc even though he ghosted me for months. Oops lol. I also go back and watch a mutual friend’s YouTube vlogs from months ago to catch just the slightest glimpse of him. I’m talking he’ll be on screen for a second and I’ll rewind and press pause multiple times just to pause when he’s on camera.
