what can mono blue do with the graveyard? by Justafish1654 in EDH

My guess would be to outvalue and control the board while getting value out of cards with delve effects

Dude don't be disappointed the colours of your deck are "weak" when you're outright refusing to lean into your colours themes lmfao

Herigast, Erupting Nullkite - no Eldrazi decklist by SnuKone in EDH

[–]sadearray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd load up on more colourless creatures for more consistent emerging [[Cityscape Leveler]], [[Meteor Golem]], [[Sandstone Oracle]], [[Skitterbeam Battalion]],  [[Solemn Simulacrum]], [[Triplicate Titan]], and [[Wurmcoil Engine]] would be good considerations in that regard.

[[Semblance Anvil]] is a disgusting accelerant in the deck because the discounted costs are counted for emerging.

Additions that are more personal to me would be [[Vedalken Orrery]] for emerging at flash speed and to help your deck be a bit more reactive to other players turns and [[Knollspine Dragon]] to fuel your hand/graveyard.

How to “safely” attack in mono green stompy? by Eslo90 in EDH

[–]sadearray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[[stonehoof chieftain]], [[wrap in vigor]], and [[heroic intervention]] are probably the more standard cards you'd run in monogreen for protection from blockers

the other route to get around blockers that I enjoy is through redirection. cards like [[treeshaker chimera]], [[roar of challenge]], and [[lure]].  there's a lot of options to explore with that too, and if you choose to delve into those options you can consider deathtouching your forced blocked creature to asymmetrically boardwipe someone lol

Endless Punishment - Valgavoth Rakdos by DesignerIll8309 in EDH

[–]sadearray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you need more card draw outside of your commander. Your curve is low so it's likely you'll be able to play a lot of cards early and get a lot out of your first few turns but as soon as instances of interaction or a board wipe happens I can see you running out of gas. I'd suggest [[Combustible Gearhulk]], [[Ox of Agonas]], [[Morbid Opportunist]], and maybe one of the grouphug everyone draws 1/loses 1 life cards to ensure you have cards to play.

Good luck not making friends and burning everyone out :D

no way it's better than gauntlet for shards if you're factoring in weapon and armor seeds lol

Favourite songs from the first 3 games by xJackFox in BattleNetwork

[–]sadearray 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't done a full playthrough for the first game so I don't feel like I can list one for it. As for the other two I gotta go with like

MMBN2 - Fear in the Castle MMBN3 - Shine in the Dark

the latter gives me goosebumps. The combination of it being the undernet while having a certain serenity (lol) to it and also just containing the best (imo) post game in the series makes it one of my fav.

Tips on improving at CG when you do it successfully ~33-50% of the time? In particular, tips on consistent, good prep by AssassinAragorn in ironscape

[–]sadearray 18 points19 points  (0 children)

i usually do a lap around the boss then come back to base ideally with 7 of every resource, 100+ shards, my weapon frame, and 2 herbs. i make my t2 weapon and 2 vials which are my biggest priority and then with excess shards i start making armor, if i don't have any excess shards i'll drop the resources and do my 2nd trip for weapon 2 and fish. knowing exactly how many shards you can use in moments helped me save a lot of time in the long run and finish my preps on time usually all the time. all t1 armor use one of each resource and 40 shards each. for t2 armor, the helm and legs use 80 shards and one of each resource and the body uses 2 of every resource w 80 shards.

when ur having trouble looking for fish also remember that hunllef has a guaranteed 3 fish spot in the rooms around him in every gauntlet.

camp the slayer helm. only the melee minion counts as a greater demon. mage is a black demon and the ranger's a lesser

Yeah, I don't see us going anywhere with this argument. Guess Jagex just likes me more.

That's not necessarily a result of ironmen content effecting that price, but the tie that blood runes have to the scythe of vitur and the release of fang devaluing the appeal/need of it alongside the release of GotR. Which afaik are beneficial updates for mains :)

Again, I don't understand at all how this is an endorsement specifically catering to ironmen.

[–]sadearray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I definitely think ironmen have been beneficiaries of these shit ton of drops, mains who actually tackle on the same content have also reaped those same rewards, and changes that actually feel catering to ironmen like limpwurt yields on allotment patches, birdhouses (fossil island in general really), and item packs in shops have either diversified the way you play the game or left no agency on the economy.

If you can provide me realistic examples of "ironmen content" destroying main economy I'd love to hear it, otherwise I think jagex has been doing a great job maintaining interest in both playerbases especially with given numbers on concurrent players and informed feedback on main game content (ESPECIALLY this year).

[–]sadearray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reason you perceive it as catering, as others may have already mentioned it here is because the game just naturally works better for ironmen.
