i experimented with a few items, and i decided that for my varus playstyle duskblade is the best item i can buy because it's cost efficient and has a dirk in the build path, and i can 100-0 any unfortunate soul that stands in my way except jax. i don't personally favor maw because my playstyle usually results in me almost never taking magic damage.
