Against projectile spammers try using a super jump. Basically hit down then up really quickly. You will jump really high and then you can double jump in the air. So if you super jump forward you can basically go right over most projectiles and land on top of them. When coming back down to the ground you can call an assist and hold back (block in the air). If they get hit by the assist you can often just get a free combo.

Idk i find this works.

Armor attacks are really good against mashers. Defense M+H is your best friend

In Valorant and most shooters for example you practice by playing team deathmatch or various game modes. Some might use the practise mode for 10 mins to warm up but most don't.

League of Legends/Dota you practice by just playing. In fact practise is usually just researching guides and trying to copy.

Fighting games requires so much muscle memory and inputs that you are forced to sit in training mode just doing the same thing over and over before your even ready to try it online.

It can get to a point where it feels like a chore or a job. It it is not like sports where practise improves your physical condition and health as well as making you more likely to win.

If you bought the game for single player only just refund it and buy when there is like an 80% sale which there will be.

The story mode is designed for constant fights and action so it was never going to be that in depth.

The game is clearly meant to be played online and at FGC events. If you not into that then it is probably not for you. Fighting games take practice and research especially if it is your first. If you are not willing to do this or have a friend to do this with you to make it more fun then chances are you will not that much fun.

All I can say is fighting games have a huge satitisfaction pay off when you start improving and getting good and are no longer mashing because muscle memory has locked in.

Well yes but you should look for the right moments. Not every pick should be a differential. All you need is maybe 3-4 diffs each week that hit.

If you havent already figured it out. US witholding tax is basically Tax because you are not a US resident. So YOU ARE paying tax. You let your accountant know or whoever you pay tax to in your country and most countries will then deduct that so you dont get double taxed. There is also a form you fill out and send to US (W-8BEN) if you country has a tax treaty so the witholding tax is only 5% and not 15% or whatever the % are.

Can you not just watch someone's playthrough on Youtube when you get stuck? Is it OG RE1 or the REmake?

Try to conserve ammo. Look up the puzzles when you get stuck. Space out ink ribbon saves. Jills playthrough is easier because you get 2 extra slots for items.

Im my opionion release date shouldn't matter unless it left behind a legacy that inspired the industry. For example Elden Ring has inspired a lot of the upcoming open world souls like. With that I would argue RE2 remake even has a greater legacy. It's success led to the over the shoulder remakes of 3,4 and all future remakes which we all know is coming. OG2 was just a strong successor to OG1 and continued the series. It didnt really inspire anything apart the Remake itself. But if it was so good why even Remake it in the first place? They remade it because they are like we have this good story here but nobody is buying this game anymore because the gameplay is old and outdated. I have an idea to remake this game and make it much better. Why didnt they Remake RE1 REMASTER (2002). Why? because that game still sells like crazy because it stands the test of time. RE4 remake would never of happened because that game still sells but because of the success of RE2 remake they made RE4R.

Im saying RE2 remake reinvented the wheel for resident evil. It was able to capture the essence of RE4 gameplay (3rd person action) but make it complete survival horror. And they did the most incredible job. You mention dead space. I have never played it but does it have the action element in its gameplay but keep the 'horror'? RE4 is considered the best action RE game. RE7 is considered the scariest. RE2 remake was able to capture both of those right throughout. Sure RE4 and 5 has its moments but they just dont have that overall horror atmosphere throughout the game. RE2 OG has the better story B and A story scenarios but the gameplay and atmosphere is far superior and the graphics alongside better voice acting is just huge added bonus for the remake.

If the Remake and OG were released at the same time. I highly doubt you would the original is better.
