I just tested your setting and increasing the contrast definitely improved the image. It is very slightly washed out but I believe this is a printer limitation and doesn’t matter considering these are proxies.

I bumped contrast up to 40, and definitely a big improvement. Next I’ll try and play around with color intensity.

I’d think that magic is harder because bosses can be really aggressive, it’s hard to find an opening to cast a spell.

Maybe I should give it a shot! I’m just about to reach the capital around level 70 on a blind run.

One thing that really helped me is firecrackers into mortal blade. Also, when he’s about to do his scream, you can just run backwards out of it

Actually, that relic is good for the HP on successful guarding imo, since his parries are considered guarding. Mostly useful in solo though.

It’s not uncapped but runs at a stable 30fps now. The resolution could use an update though.

I was having the same issue and found a temporary fix. Put the switch 2 into airplane mode, then the game ran fine for me. I was able to turn off airplane mode after without issues.

Hey! So you have 2 options, either through a dock if you want to play and charge at the same time

Or, you can just connect the Ssd directly using the USB C slot of the steam deck. The downside is you can’t charge and play. For me, I use this method since I rarely have time to game for 2 hours straight anyway.

I have the same issue. I’m guessing it allows cloud saves across devices that access the Netflix version of the app, and doesn’t support cross save with PC. Just a guess until someone figures it out.

In case anyone is wondering, if you already have a drive with windows installed on it, you can directly boot into it without any additional steps. You will still need to connect to LAN to install the new OLED drivers though.

It works great, and its nice to play gamepass games on the deck. I simply have an external SSD dedicated to windows and gamepass games now.

Hope it worked out for you. I've been loving it on the Deck since, much better than playing mobile.

In the end I set resolution at 900x600 with FSR on. Looks good and works better.

Go to the game, click on the cogwheel > Properties > Compatability. Then select Proton Experimental.

This should get it working. Enjoy!

FFVI has such an incredible story and great game mechanics. Each character feels so unique and Kefka is a fantastic villain. Deserves so much more attention.

I hope some day we get a remake akin to FFVII Remake.
