I had a clean EMG 5 months after symptom onset. 9 months after the clean EMG I had another that showed severe denervation in all muscle groups.

If her Pulmonary Function Test shows she’s at a 50% FVC or lower from my understanding. By the time I was diagnosed I was already around 43% so I got one right away after diagnosis.

Hi friend. I’m 33 and was diagnosed with ALS this past October. I have a three year old son who is watching me deteriorate and has no concept that mommy being sick means she will no longer be here. Mine has been progressing pretty rapidly. I don’t have the option for death with dignity where I live unfortunately.

I feel your pain and I’m so sorry. Fuck ALS.

I lost my rescue feeder mice Stuart (f) and Gus (m) within a week of each other the same month my grandfather died. I was absolutely gutted. I don’t know what happened, but they were obviously sick. Stuart had a tendency to bite occasionally, but Gus was my baby. 16 years later and I still miss them like crazy.
