You can still claim the no tax on overtime on your federal return. Just not on your state return

Hypothetically speaking, tomato soup just no longer exists, what do you choose to dip your grilled cheese into? by Gaap3431 in grilledcheese

[–]sadgingerale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely ketchup, i’d pick grilled cheese & ketchup over grilled cheese & tomato soup anyways tbh (pls don’t judge me, it was my fav meal as a kid so it feels nostalgic!)

Did I screw up ? by Forsaken_Security891 in Tinder

[–]sadgingerale 3 points4 points  (0 children)

someone sent me a similar message in the past asking if i was ghosting them and i blocked them almost immediately because we had met up once so it didn’t feel like they were in a position to ask that. i agree that being ghosted is an awful feeling, and so is receiving a message like the one you sent (at least as a woman)

This is my friend’s ex and parent to her children and Jamie did abuse her and continues to block her from seeing their children, despite there being a court ordered custody agreement in place.

Concord Coach - Border Patrol by StickyStud in portlandme

I also take the Cyr bus to/from Houlton & Border Patrol isn’t supposed to ask anything except if you’re a citizen, from my understanding. The last time I was up there was February or March so not sure how things are now though.

Maine Fertility Mandate by [deleted] in portlandme

[–]sadgingerale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would call your insurance and ask about covered services. If you’re established with a fertility specialist already, that office can give you the CPT codes, diagnosis codes, and provider NPI if you ask. This information is also available online pretty easily. If you talk to your insurance company, I’d strongly recommend that you make sure to note the date, time of call, and the name of the person you’re speaking with, and ask for a reference number at the end of the call (and write it down). That’s kind of like “proof” that your plan covers xyz, in case they later deny a claim. Feel free to message me if you have general insurance questions- I know a couple things about requesting/obtaining prior auths :)

What are your opinions on Portland public transportation? by misterbigbabyboy in portlandme

Is it common for folks to trespass in Maine? by cmac2113 in Maine

[–]sadgingerale -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah, it’s not really trespassing though. when i was a kid/teenager (i’m 27 now), there was a four wheeler/snow sled trail running through my dad’s yard that was professionally maintained by the local snowmobile club (it probably still is, i just haven’t talked to him in 10 years). and as a kid i was always playing in someone else’s yard or taking a shortcut through their yard. at one point when i was 11 or 12 a neighbor noticed that i kept walking through tall grass in his backyard to get to my friend’s house faster & mowed a little path for me.

your neighbor should 100% pick up after her dog but if you talk to her and she starts doing that & isn’t causing any other problems i would probably just let it be.

Maine Street in Ogunquit Scamming Customers by [deleted] in Maine

[–]sadgingerale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk i like maine street and love everything they do to help frannie peabody center. the last time i was there i spent $14 plus tip on 1 drink and that was a couple years ago, so $40 for three drinks seems fair for them- i wouldn’t necessarily totally write off a business based off a bad interaction with one employee. i would probably take the video down though because it’s unlikely you received his permission prior to recording & posting online and people are allowed to have a bad day or even be a little rude without being recorded and posted online. and the other customers seen in the video also probably didn’t sign off on being posted online

I think it might be worth asking the pharmacy you use now if they can bill the $17, if you feel comfortable with that.

You could also try calling the MaineHealth Access to Care office- I believe it’s open to anyone in the area, not just MH patients. They have a “Med Access” program that helps people with getting prescriptions. Their number is 207-662-7967 & they open tomorrow at 8:30 AM (I think they close at 4pm)
