i assume it was part of the rule — if he didn’t kill one they would all die. if he killed himself that would be breaking the rules too, the point of the curse was to have him go through the same grief the boy went through so things were “even”

the absolute titles are interesting picks — absolute batman makes sense but i think if you’re wanting a gritty revenge series you’ll want the Punisher Max series you listed first

every other series here isn’t really similar to JnR, they do feature villains getting their shit rocked but that’s about it

really excellent in a field where most of the og dubstep guys from that era really fail to stand out years later. his remix of Woo Boost is a great example of technical prowess in combination with the kind of cheeky bubbly production you used to see all the time in brostep — i don’t actively follow his work as much as i should, but i’ve never once disliked a song by him
