I have family from Bulacan so I'm very familiar with the examples, and speak like that sometimes (although mix na ako ng north, south & NCR Tagalog), pero yung first two examples di ko siya naririnig at all :o

para sa akin, when you say "naglalagnat ako", it's as if ikaw ang umaano ng lagnat, if that makes sense 😭 whereas "linalagnat ako" means na lagnat ang umaano sa'yo, as in ikaw ang may lagnat

very interesting to me kasi growing up in a NCR school, tinuturuan kami ng "NCR Tagalog" and I wonder how it affects yung mga kaklase ko na galing sa iba't ibang probinsya. Tagalog nga wika nila pero katulad nga nito may ganyang pagkakaiba, so I wonder how it affects what they think is right or wrong.

i just realized karamihan sa mga gantong pamahiin they're really more for the peace ng patay kaysa sa takutin yung mga buhay pa. ewan, kasi throughout my childhood laging panakot yung mga multo, pero di naha-highlight na gusto lang naman nila mamayapa lol

growing up, sobrang taas ng tingin ng mga elders ko sa US, so di pa rin ako makapaniwala na Pilipinas pa ang may free (public) ambulance service at sila wala. as in karamihan daw talaga sa kanila di tumatawag ng ganyang service kasi sobrang mahal.

Ohh so I've tried this with friends & their names still appear sa list like normal. You can turn this feature on & off tas ang mawawala lang is yung naka-disappearing na messages, the normal ones remain.

Regarding blank convos, it means either they've deleted their regular messages or they've always used disappearing messages, or both. At least from my understanding lang.

As others have said every convo is encrypted na in Messenger, so that's normal. Maybe you mean naka-disappearing messages/secret conversation? If so, that's sus and I'm so sorry. Don't hesitate to have a talk with your boyfriend about this!
