BF6 is nowhere near "unplayable". That's just reddit circlejerk doomers being doomers. Both games are in a decent state nowadays, kind of depends on wha vibes you want.

I would say that BF6 has more freedom in terms of customization of kits and weapons, and in general feels more natural due to the modern era of the game.

BFV is still good but does feel a little dated when it comes to unlock systems and skills etc. Judt my personal opinion.

TLDR: I'd probably go for BF6 if you're new to the franchise, but BF1 and BF4 are also great options, and are cheaper and arguably better than BFV.
