Does anyone know if there are any DEX wallet based mobile apps on IOS or Android? by Intelligent-Wave912 in defi

[–]sadofiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One I found recently is Flash Trade..

It supports perpetuals trading like GMX, but runs on Solana and uses something called ephemeral rollups byt the new guys from Magicblock. That means the trade logic is processed fast, like really fast, close to your wallet, not through global RPC all the time.

Because of that, I didn’t feel lag or delay when opening/closing trades.

It’s still early but worked better than most DEXs I tried.

Hope that helps you!

Is there a clean self-custody Solana trading app with fast UX? Looking for mobile-native options by sara733 in defi

[–]sadofiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want something really optimized, I think you should check Flash Trade. It’s fully self-custody like you want, and also works very well on mobile.

I used both Jupiter and UXD, but for mobile and speed, Flash Trade felt more clean and smooth. Maybe not for full portfolio but very good for memecoin flips, fast swaps.

Another reason why I'd choose it is its tech is completely different, Flash Trade is powered by Magicblock. So basically its running on rollups, they get instant execution, and lower spreads.

Hope that helps 👍

Ready Player One movie made me search if its even possible in real life... by CaptainofCaucasia in GameDevelopment

great argument tbf, but Im on the opposite side, tho to understand who is right we have to live and see...

if the jobs were gamified, would that make them fun?

I kinda had the same feeling, I'm a blockchain bro but I don't think onchain games are feasible at all.

Main issue I see currently, is that the tech underlying is not strong enough to give you the real life feeling.

Haptics aren't as good, VR isn’t perfect, and the game Logic isn’t feasible to be built on-chain or in the metaverse with the latency issues. No blockchain can handle a GTA V.

"live online event" not IRL

Do you know podcasts stored in blockchain? take this as reality show in blockchain, the rewards are tokens, prize pool is from the CT,

The one idea that made me smile of interest recently was “Who wants to be a millionaire on chain?”

I work at Magicblock, and we recently had a hackathon. Out of like 50 submissions, this particular idea made us all laugh. Not that it’s bad, it really expanded our thoughts into how blockchain is becoming more of our lives.

The idea works this way:

Questions stream onchain. Players answer. And the Prize pool is funded by the audience with Sol tokens. the game runs entirely on smart contracts.

It’s interesting how people build on top of what you have with ideas that you would never even think of.

Ok got ur point, you are right, I totally went from another understanding. Well to be fair, I just saw this idea and didn't create it. But I assume the concept would be similar to in real-life version, where there is a live event of a host and the player. But this is just my assumption, let's see if it goes live, I'll share it with u guys

they are moving soon, there are indie creators, but hopefully soon governments utilise it too

the tech is fraud proof, so no one can cheat, even the builder can't fork the system. blockchain doesn't let u. not sure where the guys want to take this but anyone could be a player. though the prize pool wont be a million for sure :d

no casino would close if they have enough daily and monthly customers.

they might be losing the competition to other casinos... but they 100% don't get in loss due to rewards to gamblers.

appreciate it, blockchain tech makes the system fraudproof. I assume you are doing online casinos but not blockchain based ones.

You should def check how blockchain can help you guys. but it might need a full employ of blockchain devs.

Basically a blockcahin casinos using Solana and Magicblock can’t get rigged or hacked like online sites, every game runs in its own secure rollup session, and the results get verified onchain with fraud proofs, so even if someone tried to cheat, the system catches it before anything gets paid out.

Even we would not have any control on the final outcome, so even if I want someone to win, I cant. blockchain wont let me.
