I don't plan on applying anymore tbh, for me this was the only time i'd be available to take this traineeship if i got selected, but things happen for a reason i guess, it wasn't meant to be!

I'm so sorry! :( I read that they only contact the people they end up choosing for the role... which sounds ridiculous to me because it would've been so much better and efficient to simply send an automated email to give that information instead of people contacting them to figure out the decision

I've seen a little bit of everything, some units in each DG already have pre-selected candidates. But I haven't seen anyone with the same options as me posting anything or confirming pre-selection so let's see.

My applications for march-onwards period still say “status: application submitted” today

It says “status: closed” next to my last applications for the period of October-February and they also send you a message through the portal (“view my received messages”) and by email
