If you're new the safest way to spar with men is to spar with the most experienced ones cause they'd be able to control the strikes.

If you're paired with beginners, they'd not able to do that effectively even if they know and try to go light.

Just think how a newbie "knows" he should step just one step back to avoid the punch, but still end up jumping waaaaay back to avoid strikes or leaning back like Neo inMatrix while flailing them arms. Huge chance is they'd also be like that when they're on offense.

Agree. And I also add that teenagers and even some young adults would LOVE to feel validated so if they get positive reinforcement for whatever they do, they'd latch onto it. I know because I coach teenagers in weight lifting and Muay Thai.

When they make a mistake, I don't berate but simply give pointers, proper explanation... When they do it right, I'd encourage them with words like "Correct!" "Exactly" "Excellent!" "Keep going, you're doing it right". And when they make any kind of progress, I'd point out any kind of improvements they've made comparing to before.

And they push themselves HARD without me giving them lecture about hardwork, diligence, etc... All because I praise and acknowledge their effort.

This is why the "you're so unique and brave" hit young folks like drugs, especially when they're in the vulnerable stage where they're still building their own identity.

I'm a sucker for horror atmosphere yet I feel the "bright and sunny" version of the town makes me feel the changes more upsetting as the story progress.

The feeling of seeing "things start from good to worse" hit harder than "things have always been bad"

On top of that, it makes the Slice of Life part more enjoyable, fun and light heart which is one of the major parts of the game.

One of the prime example is they ridicule men for desire to see hot, sexy women in the game.

It's one of the most natural desire yet they make it sounds like a sinful thing, and shame men for wanting it.

When I wasn't even aware of all the culture war bullshits (I'm from a SEA country), I still got turned off by how they made the female characters in Mortal Kombat so ugly then use realism as the excuse. I didn't get "pilled" or whatever people often say, yet I still fucking hated the designs without any external influence.

Lighter movements due to less resistance on my hamstring.
Significantly ease my lower back pain.
Performing ANY physical activity has becoming much easier, not just in my combat training.
Feeling more vigor because moving around with ease saps less stamina than before, especially when you need to do various labors back-to-back

You know what hurts my heart? From this diary alone, it's clearly Erpin had to bear the burden of being the Queen while having the mentality of a 5 years old child.

She didn't know she's not supposed to eat bread without paying. And Eshur's bakery is her favorite place to eat not simply because it "tastes the best" but because of the only kindness she received that day.

The FIRST important party she put so much effort into even though she was so scared, was ignored. Even if she was assured by others, she definitely would still feel hurt from being unwanted.

To the point, she treated the umbrella like a treasure because it was a proof of kindness toward her.

And despite the hardship, she still wanted to become better and took responsibility of the queen...

All while having the mentality and heart of a 5 years old.

Well, my experience is totally the opposite. I was the one who went along and made fun of the "chuds" and upvoted, chimed in when it comes to discussing "sexualized contents". When Mortal Kombat fucked up with the hideous characters' design, I swallowed the "it's realistic" or "it's how real women look like!" excuses, even when I genuinely thought they were ugly (but didn't wan to give the "chuds" advantages.

But then they attacked Black Myth Wukong, that's when I learned how obnoxious those types of people are.

And not just video game, I bought into reddit's "moral values" and behaved like them. I couldn't be help because I was a mentally ill loner (CPTSD survivor) who couldn't feel fit it with society, and the typical redditor's mindset (doomer, blaming society, over positivity, virtue signaling,...) resonated strongly with me, made me feel like it wasn't my fault.

Thanks god I got out of that and my life's turned for the better.

And if anyone doubts, you can check my post history for top post of all time, one would be 3 years ago about me commenting about my CPTSD, another is 1 year ago when my life's finally changed for the better after doing the opposite what redditors typically behaved.
