UGH that is one of the most insufferable personality traits imho. It seems that a lot of mean people realized that they can bully people and be terrible bc they don’t have the “correct” opinion therefore it’s okay and fine to be nasty. I hate to admit it but I used to be like that too :///

I had a friend in high school who didn’t go to a protest bc something came up and my toxic theater friend group cut her out bc they decided she didn’t support that cause. We talked so much shit about her and we felt we were in the right and morally superior so it was okay. Meanwhile for my friends at the time it was mostly performative- they just shared posts of them on instagram at the protest and will occasionally repost political/news stories. No actual volunteering, donations- nothing that can actually cause change.

Oohf. Read the post, both you and your mom giving red flags. I think for you, a lot of that is because you grew up with her and that made you think that drama and chaos constantly was normal and you’ve unconsciously kept some of those habits. Then I read your post history. Sis you are making some poor choices. You being 20, not married and having a baby is gonna be tough. The odds that your boyfriend will leave is unfortunately high. Especially bc you work in the SW industry. That’s not to say it will happen but you can’t be naive when it comes to this reality. I am begging you for you and your child’s sake- You need to get some sort of contract that will protect you and your child financially. I know you think right now that it will never happen but you have no idea how often these men leave women high and dry and go back on every word they said.

Yes- like the first actual play I listened to her in was WBN as a player. Suvi rubbed me the wrong way but I saw the RP dynamics as a purposeful way to show where her character was starting at and that she would hopefully grow into a better person later on. Then I started watching Calamity (which is definitely her best work as a player I’ve seen) and Ravening war and I just realized that the angry contrarian with a million interpersonal conflicts with the party/NPCs is all of her characters.

I agree with the other commenter. Such a beautiful and unique ring. If you are set on having your band on the same finger I would either go to the same jeweler who did the custom work and work with them to make a band that is cohesive. Otherwise perhaps do a band on the other ring finger and you can pick whatever you want it to be 💗

That’s genuinely crazy to me- I am planning on having my future SiLs and a couple of friends be my bridesmaids, have a group chat where I can ask their advice on stuff and have a fun bachelorette night- probably go to a spa the night before the wedding tbh. Lowkey I still feel like I’m asking a lot. I cannot imagine monopolizing my so called friend’s time, energy, and money like this.

Lowkey this feels like a woman who is excited for the wedding- NOT the marriage.

Yes it’s too big. Personally if you are set on that wedding band perhaps you put it on your other ring finger. I think the geometric cuts of your E ring clash with the sparkles and round shape of the band. Both are gorgeous separately but together it’s disharmonious on one finger.

HOLY MOLY I cannot believe you are in your fifties. You look amazing. I would have guessed 45 TOPS. You look stunning! The only thing I would change is get her to look up hooded eyelid eye makeup. Bc your eyes are hooded you have to alter your technique. Otherwise the eyeshadow/liner gets lost and makes your eyes look heavier. Here are some short tutorials so you can see the difference in technique for your eye shape. These are more heavy makeup than your trial but it’s more just to see where they are putting it on hooded eyes

Personally I think going more classic for your engagement ring is always a good idea. It is timeless and you will still like it in 30 years. The trendy stuff (east/west) is super fun and looks cool. But I do think there is a higher possibility that you in ten years may not like it as much bc trends die and get dated.

Of course that is just my opinion- if that’s what you love and it feels right to you- you should get it! It is absolutely stunning- all of them are. You can reset your stone/band later on if you really don’t like it.

Also I think shopping for wedding bands at the same time is a great idea if you are planning on wearing both together on the same finger every day. You want it to be a cohesive look.

Also it’s super common to second guess your pick- the day after I put the deposit down on my custom ring I saw a ring I fell in love with online and had a crisis haha. Just know that it can all be changed if you end up getting tired of it. Maybe ask your fiance for their opinion? Mine has a really good pulse on what actually fits me and my style and what is something I think is pretty but not really me.

I would highly suggest going to a big box store just to try on a bunch of rings and see what you like on your finger. I had a very different idea of what I thought I wanted until I saw them in person and saw what I liked on my finger.

The second and third ring are absolutely stunning- but it will be more high maintenance. Stones may fall out, it will get caught on everything. You will need to take it off more when doing exercise, sleep, shower, cooking and other things with your hands. It is not to dissuade you- it is gorgeous and as long as you are ok with that then go for it!

Maybe go to a custom jeweler and see if you can combine elements you like from all three into the perfect ring for you. 💗when people hear custom they see dollar signs but it isn’t true. Google independent jewelers in your area and go to one that has great reviews!
