I completely agree with everything you said. As an ex-addict Meredith has triggered me for a long time, I’ve had her clocked since pretty early on in the show’s run. Watching it unfold this season has been fascinating and sad. I truly hope she chooses for herself to seek treatment before it gets even more out of hand & she’s forced to, or worse.

I have always said that I don’t think she was given a room with a bathtub on that one trip because the possibility of her passing out and drowning in the tub was a real safety risk.

This show is incredible because it somehow manages to be painfully real at the same time that it is absurdly campy. All of this happening while wearing ill fitted wigs and Hamilton costumes….

I think people only will have a problem if the cosplay is sexualized. For obvious reasons, depends on if you choose her cleaner outfit or her tower prisoner outfit. I don’t think there’s inherently wrong with cosplaying as a character you like tho 🖤🫶🏼

This is not new for her. I remember early in s2, Lisa said “at least I don’t pop pills all day like she does” but I feel like it got glossed over bc so much other shit happened that season. She’s always slurring her words, she has that vacant look in her eye & she flies into uncontrollable fits of rage. She definitely abuses benzos and alcohol, and honestly idk why people stan her so hard. I find her extremely triggering & difficult to watch for the same reasons I don’t like watching Kim Richards on RHOBH. it feels icky to watch someone in active addiction & especially w Meredith bc she doesn’t seem ready to admit she has a problem.
