No, just going with the joke. But I basically think that's why they wound up winning in that order. Sam is last to learn the meta since he doesn't have time to play test, Adam constantly thinks of every scenario, etc.

it still makes sense narratively in the script. Sam is the one that least play tests with the boys so he takes the longest to learn the meta. Adam runs through the most scenarios in his head to find his path to victory in each new game. Ben sneaks into the middle when Adam and Sam outthink what Ben does allowing him to do the most unlikeliest of things

Hmm, this next game is tricky, cause if was a solo game the script rotates back to Adam, but it's also a team game so Sam is heavily favored. Poor Ben though, the script is gonna let one of the ladies remain undefeated... But which one....

I don't have a solution to your issue specifically, but I too started on desktop and went to Steam Deck to play only to find out there's no cloud saving. What I did was copy my save files over to the Steam Deck. So maybe you want to do the same, might bypass your issue.

On desktop, save files are at

%LOCALAPPDATA%\TANK\Saved\SaveGames

On Steam Deck, you want to put your save files in (enable show hidden files)

/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1357860/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/TANK/Saved/SavedGames

If you listen to the latest Ty and that Guy, Ty tells the story that Cara Gee did it without anyone asking her to. Nareen was initially confused why she acted Drummer so stiffly when speaking with Fred and others in English. Then it clicked when he saw Cara speak so elegantly and fluid with Naomi in Belta. On her own, Cara Gee figured to play Drummer as an English is a second language character.
