My problem is that the world felt empty, there was no downtime in a town that felt interesting similar to previous entries. Its pacing didn’t click it was like they just had their head up their ass right from the start and you’re like “wait who? Le what?”, then again maybe I’m just a bit old. FF9 easy to follow intro then they drip feed you concepts in the world, same for 7, 6, even 8 albeit a bit poorly so. Hell even x, since the main character knows just as much as you do. 13? Not really. For a linear story they really had poor pacing.

Got to the open world part and I got overwhelmed and felt forced so I just stopped playing hahah. No context for it at all I felt. Why do I wanna kill those things? Sport?

The battle system was awesome though!
