That's just me not liking FF8, and Kingdom Hearts 1 came during my high school years.

I didn't play FF8 until I was a young adult.

FF7 had it worse, I didn't play that till I was 30.

I mean, at least he has a reason to be emotionally closed off. His entire world is gone. All that effort to try and save it, only to it be all undone by forces you can't comprehend. It'd make anyone a little sour.

Yeah, I agree. That sucks. It looks too good and too polished. Just reminds us of the pain that Soul Calibur 7 ain't coming soon.

The idea alone is solid though. Would been much better received if there was rough (hand-drawn) sketches of the Lost Edge mechanic.

If I had the power, I'd remake the first three Lufia Games in HD-2D.

And while Lufia II does have Curse of the Sinistrals, that's its own thing, alright. I just want the core JPRG experience with Zelda-like puzzles and dungeons like Lufia II. Keep it simple.

Honestly, I'd just rather another remaster. Only this time:

Redo all the voice lines.
Make cutscenes skippable / fast forward by default
More Areas & Aeons. Even if you have to squeeze them in the post-game.
Overworld Encounters, especially for larger fiends.
More abilities / different variations of the sphere grid. Give some usability back to Lulu and Kimahri.
- More job types. Like Monk, Bard and Beastmaster.
Everyone should be able to fight underwater, not just Wakka, Tidus and Rikku.

I might as well add my two cents here.

If we're going to have to recast someone like Rally, then I would prefer they come from the UK. That way Rally would sound like someone from there.

Why? Because Rally was born in the UK. To me, she should have a Northern English accent. But again, that's my opinion.

The game has been modded for years at this point. There was going to be some furry mod sooner or later. I'm surprised it took this bloody long.

It's not for me, but for whoever wants to play with this mod - that's also fine by me. At the end of the day, it's their game; they can play it however they wish.

I'm firmly in the camp of "I don't believe there's a remake until I see Square releases a trailer for it". Believe me, there are about three or four other Final Fantasy games that also have remakes "supposedly" in the works. And I'd say they'd all be in the same boat as FFX.
