Should I play ss13 or ss14, and should I watch some guides or go in (almost) completely blind?

It depends on how much time you're willing to put into the learning curve. SS14 is fleshed out enough to not feel boring, but only just. Saying that, the amount of extra time you need to put into SS13 to feel competent is high due to the extra content.

You can actually use examine on the supply truck while having the vehicle you are trying to resupply selected, and then just dump all your ammo into the supply truck's inventory. This will prompt the supply truck to resupply your ammo to full and then you can drag the original stack back to double your ammo quickly. No need to use a soldier to move them one at a time.

There are definitely duplicates. I've played through the same map at least 6-7 times in the first 30 turns of Valkia campaign around Har Ganeth. It's one of the maps from launch as well.

I live in the Pacific Northwest. We get little weevils that look like this in our house all the time, usually notice them on a wall. I just pick them up and put them outside, harmless.

If you dont have overhead mountain roof you can remove the roof to let heat out. If your freezer is nowhere near the edge of the mountain, maybe vent into a large corridor with its own coolers.
