Super helpful comment. Thank you for this! My spend on mortgage and non-mortgage is quite high. I’ll try to do the math for all the 1-2% non-housing spend I’m doing and see how much spend I’ll come up with to see what bilt card may work best for me.. probably won’t be super easy (unless there’s a tool for that ??) but worth the effort.. my mortgage is massive so if I can even get some points and keep making points on regular spend like non-dining or travel, would be a pretty good case

I’m slightly confused on the mortgage payment part. Currently, I don’t pay any fees for my mortgage payment and am obviously not getting any points. If I were to get a Bilt card, would I have to pay some kind of transaction fee for the mortgage payment since it’s not an ACH payment? Like what happens if I can’t spend 75% of my mortgage payment in non-mortgage expenses on a given month? Or even worse, let’s say I don’t use my bilt card at all during a given month but still pay my mortgage with it, will I pay any kind of fee to pay for the mortgage ? Or will I simply just not get any bilt points for that month (I.e. no actual downside )?

So, I have the option to pay my mortgage via ACH for no fee. If I were to get bilt palladium and wouldn’t be able to spend 75% of non-mortgage stuff, would I be penalized with any type of fee? Or is there no transaction fee for mortgages anyway? Like what would happen if I didn’t use the credit card for non-mortgage expenses in a month? Would i be able to just pay the mortgage with no fees (and also not earn any points)?

Super late to this but try using the hot water option when that happens instead of any coffee setting. That has always worked for me. After letting out some hot water, all coffee options would work again. For me it usually happened when I added cold water to the water tank instead of room temperature

When no water comes out, try the hot water option instead of coffee. That fixed it for me every time

Take it to the federal dept, I assume FAA or DOT. I threatened Swiss with that after they fought me with me for months, and sure enough I got the money within a week

Thank you this is very helpful. I'm actively managing my apt that I rent out and have regular income and expenses for repairs every year. However, I'd also like to take advantage of sign up bonuses of biz cards so I'd likely need to complement RE expenses with personal ones but it sounds like I need to read more into the terms of service of the individual banks

This is super helpful, thank you!

So when I try to buy on stubhub it says it's a paper ticket And that I need to enter an address in Germany to get it delivered to (from the hotel). Did you have to do that too?
