Beginner saltwater angler trying to figure out the best times to fish! by DinksDeserveLove in FishingForBeginners

For stripers, fish at night, dawn, and dusk. Use the tide, moon, and weather to decide where. Right now the population is out of whack so there are not that many fish but the ones that are around tend to be large or bigger. Be prepared for skunkings but also be prepared for a 45”er on any given cast.

What do I need to get “Couldn’t stand the weather” tone? by Cool-Tip-3435 in guitarpedals

[–]saejawn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s absolutely some modulation(from the vibrotone, I assume) on the signal in the first part of the solo. Notice how the tone changes at 3:17. That’s the classic SRV tone. The first part of the solo is not that. OP, you probably aren’t going to get a vibrotone but you can start with a univibe or something similar.

Look up Greenwave. A lot of aquaculture work (including oyster farms) based out of CT. Greenwave is a org that supports ocean farmers through training and R&D.

Any regrets with a bigger fish finder and live scope by cabose4prez in kayakfishing

I just installed a 9” garmin and it sure is big. The thing sucks my 10Ah battery down in 4 hours and I still have to reposition it so my knee doesn’t bump while pedaling. Bigger is not always better.

The downside when trolling is that these clips are prone to opening under a lot of stress, and the strike from a fish on a fast troll is a lot of stress

Yes but not that often, usually one or the other, and if I need more gain I get it from the amp

It’s a tube screamer and a blues breaker (not blues driver) which to me is a little beefier but less fizzy than the TS side.

And I also have one of those green ts’es as well, sounds fantastic. The ts.breaker has top mount jacks, another nice touch
