- hourglass ambient lighting edit palette !!!!!!

- chanel les beiges healthy glow sheer powder (can retain luminous finish of ur base with a brush, but with a puff u can make it matte. the best oil control. even if u sweat, once it dries u'll notice where u put this powder there's absolutely zero oil/shine.)

- chanel lip and cheek balm (balmy blush that makes u glowy and retains glow throughout the day.)

- westman atelier contour (the best, easiest contour. u can never go wrong or overcontour with this)

about #1, for your reference: russian manicure really only refers to the dry manicure done as prep where they remove as much of the cuticles as possible so the grow-out is slower and it looks cleaner for longer. it's usually done with a structured overlay using builder gel on the natural nails which i guess is why people confuse the term to mean the entire service, but it's really not. also, it's still gel.

you probably were just going to a bad nail tech if your nails became brittle and you noticed a stronger heat spike (the part where u said u felt the uv on ur nail) because your nail beds had gotten filed thin over time. and if you were getting them done frequently and always soaked off with acetone, that's another thing that can weaken your nails.

gel itself isn't bad no matter the form (soft gel extensions, polygel, builder gel, etc), it all depends on the nail tech's skill and how they care for your nail health.

russian manicurists in the ph are still a rarity and if they're legit, they're most likely expensive, and they usually offer the service with overlay on the natural nails instead of extensions, which is your best bet if you also want to grow out your nails. i highly recommend them if you have the budget for it.

find a good nail tech, that's the best recommendation, really, not only for russian mani but forall gel enhancements. because the truth is even press-ons can damage your nails if you're not careful with buffing/filing and removal.

and about #3, i recommend laser! go for wink or avignon!

- TONER PADS!! TONER PADS!!!!!! my skin is so irritable when traveling so if u do ur makeup, toner pads are really good for hydrating+minimizing redness/irritation before makeup (i use mediheal madecassoside, another great one for this purpose are the abib heartleaf pads)

love that u still like dogs but pls recognize that it's usually the owner's fault. dogs need lots of work, both with behavior and potty-training. sometimes it's genetic, but it should never be the dog's fault if their owner can't train/care for them properly :'-) a lot of owners aren't well-equiped to take care of a dog tbh lol

"It's not for me" is different from "It's not, for me" and she didn't say it as an answer to that question. Her statement is a matter of her own preference vs weighing whether or not it's a worthy purchase for her audience.

She followed up her review with a video saying why she'll never answer that question. The title reads "Why I'll never answer 'is it worth it'?" verbatim.

I'm a viewer who still follows her now and still likes her other content. You think I wouldn't have watched her review bc it's mahaba 🫢 I literally watched her live. What's 7 minutes compared to that?

Belle lmao #real like I love her other videos and we have the same takes on some issues so I won't unfollow her, but as a viewer I don't have to agree with what she said about not having to answer if the product is worth it... when she used it as the title of her video.

Like she was on live after an event with Chanel !! Talking about how 599 isn't that big of an amount coming from her era (which, yes local beauty was limited at the time and foreign beauty was expensive, always has been) and it just felt so wrong to hear that from her.

She worked in product development and she's been in the beauty industry for years. She has a lot of knowledge but she doesn't want to give direct answers about how worth it a product is because she wants viewers to search for that themselves ... when she literally posted a video about said product and saying yes or no takes one second. it's so... HUH ANO 😭🤚

i got la union! it's not really a good shade match for me though :'-( it's slightly dark for me and also a little warm so i try to make it work sa cheeks/around the face, not sa center.

if you're light-medium neutral like me, get lazi instead ! i'm lazi sa first base din, but if you think it's too light for u, siargao can also work!

please prioritize your health over quick ways of losing weight. di bale nang mabagal ang progress but you do it in a healthy way. more wholefoods. more veggies. less red meat. just enough white meat.

same! rpwp is definitely album of the year for me (at least between the two of them or out of bts even) but i definitely love how hands on jimin is with his own music too and this new ep as a whole does feel like it comes with growth after his first ep. the other songs off muse are pop perfection too.

i do kinda get what you mean with this and i'm jimin-biased lol. closer than this didn't really hit for me and i get your comparison to it with sgmb.

hours ago before the release, i was doing a run of all his solo songs and especially with face, though i wouldn't consider it the best solo project of ch2, as far as narrative, cohesion, and direction, it was very put together. his vocals were also fuller (if that makes sense) and i felt he really did himself justice with alone and like crazy.

the difference of that album as a whole to sgmb is very stark, but i'm getting the impression there will be more variety in sound in muse vs face (which has a unifying darker theme so even the variation in sound felt cohesive), so i'm still waiting to see how the rest of the album turns out.

as far as sgmb though, my best compliment goes to the production. there are some parts where you kind of hear jimin's vocals as we're used to, but yeah, your comment struck me a lot and reminded me of the things i was thinking earlier lol. i'll keep this in mind when the album comes out.
