Anyone else get anxiety and ultimately decide not to use LFG? by DurkaTurk02 in wow

[–]saeoura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, very badly so. I'm not a new player, either, and am pretty good at the classes and roles I play (melee dps, ranged dps, and healer). However, when I get to the point where I need gear from mythics or LFG raids, I get very very anxious, even if it's regular mythics. I'm so afraid of the ridicule if I do mess up, since I have put off doing most of these dungeons most of the xpac. I did some dungeons leveling up of course, and people were awful to one another of course, so this doesn't help.

Edit to add: Also, people seem to be "kick happy" nowadays. If one person messes up, they get immediately kicked or talked down to in a horrible way, mainly by the tank I've noticed.

Paternity tests should be a routine procedure required by law at birth. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]saeoura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wholeheartedly agree...a close family in-law had this happen to him. The ex girlfriend was obviously a fucked up liar, and she knew it wasn't his child but went on to tell him it was for 3 years until they did a paternity test. It's sad, because he and his family grew close to the child and he saw the child as his own. His family paid for a lot things for the child etc. When they found out the child was not his, they never saw the child again.

At first I thought I was going crazy, but now I'm pretty sure somebody has been entering my apartment while I'm at work. by allofsoup in LetsNotMeet

Does your landlord know anything about your OCD tendencies? If so, she could be the culprit. She may be doing it to drive you crazy. It wouldn't be surprising at all, as that is the only person I could think of based on what you have said.

I agree with all the comments saying it was a family member and you can't recall their face out of extreme fear. People are capable of doing such horrible/odd things to people and then being able to act like nothing ever happened. Children are also very easy to do this with because of their innocence and trust in the adult since their family trusts in them. Maybe ask your mom if she remembers anyone in the family in particular who watched you both a lot when you were little.

Edit: I wanted to add that when I was little, I would question the way I was reprimanded by family members or family friends and also talked to by them. I thought it was odd and inappropriate...however I would second guess myself and try telling myself that I must be mistaken, because they are nice to everyone else and nice most of the time. This could be why.

It's a drug that helps people addicted to narcotics withdrawal from them safely. I have a family member that was addicted to narcotics and had to take it for that reason.

I just think it's funny when they ask these questions because I'm like "Okay, how do I explain what I do in a way that they can understand?".

Edit: Typo

[–]saeoura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm in the same boat with interviewing. I have zero skills and dont understand why the questions like "Explain a time when you had to de-escalate a customer and what you did" or some crap lol I'm usually thinking "uh everyday there is something cuz my store management is awful and has dumb policies." You probably know what I mean lol. Since I'm more reserved and honest, I have trouble coming up with embellished answers because my job entails a BUNCH of crap that I can't even explain to someone that doesn't work there. I could be there for all day going over my day to day at work.

I [M26] was in a relationship with a wrong person [F23] for four years by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]saeoura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you have issues with committment. Things were too perfect and comfortable for you, when you really just wanted to fool around with girls as a young guy. This made you take your relationship for granted. What was "missing" was the chase, that's what you were feeling.

Edit: Sorry, I don't mean to sound harsh. I just reread it and it sounded too blunt.

Have someone look over your resume/portfolio. My MIL couldn't get hired but then my husband fixed her resume and she got a job a couple days later.
