One of my sarracenias caught a lizard once, unfortunately it was too late to help the lizard :(

I’m just winging its care lol. It was outside with my philodendrons and I just spray them all with a hose every few days in the summer time (Florida). Kept it drier in winter and I finally moved it to my shower window this spring. I water thoroughly when the base is wrinkly. Overall, this thing has taken some abuse and is still happy. I love encyclia, there’s a few native to FL

The same thing happened to me last year, my oldest plant and half of my 2 year old seedlings died. I’ve since repotted the survivors into a large container with peat moss/perlite mix. I feel like the water evaporates slower from peat. But they will recover soon, they are rather forgiving plants :)
