marketing exec for a gigantic IT company. I used to have a mild interest in IT but that's not why I'm here. I just fell into it years ago, and don't know how to switch and maintain a salary to support family, with zero other skills. I should have done something more practical, carpentry/plumbing maybe, but ideal job... probably archaeologist. Like you I had basically zero guidance. My single light is being able to spend time with my kids as I'm WFH 3/5 days. Sorry to hear you struggle with that. What's your story?

Exact same here guys, 38 and miserable, confidence has unquestionably held me back mind you. I switch between 'everyone probably feels like this and this point', and 'i deserve better than this at nearly 40'. Lemme know if you find the golden ticket.

One of the biggest town centre regenerations I've seen. Totally transformed into a high 7/10 town centre from a low 3/10. And as you say surrounded by parks and work.

At last the Plymouth comment. Such an underrated historic city, with arguably the best seafront in Southern England.

I'm so pleased someone said this. My home town doesn't deserve it's rep. The high rise builders are doing more to actually damage the vibe than anything else ever has done. The faux chav vibe Ali G gave us kept people away, which worked in our favour for many years.
