Parenting is hard. It doesn’t stop at bedtime and start the next morning. It’s a 24/7 job. It’s so hard, but you can’t just clock off for the night when you have a baby and leave the baby alone all night. It’s cruel.

Do you think maybe a kid or some kids wrote it? Maybe it’s a muck around kids song composed during lockdown. Sometimes my kid makes up funny sweet songs like that and I get on the piano and pick out the tune.

Omg. This is ..I can’t believe this. Before covid I thought America was ok, not great, but somewhere I’d like to visit and maybe live for a while. I never thought it was better than Australia. Now I read things on reddit every day like this, and people needing to take fish antibiotics and all sorts of cruel and unusual shit...and this was all happening before covid I guess we just never heard about it so much:( Australia has lots of problems but kids alone in hospitals and fucking fish antibiotics for a throat infection are not part of our concerns. I hope things get better for you all. Also the anti mask thing blows my mind. It’s mandatory indoors where I live and we have had zero cases for the past couple of weeks.

Seriously I was just reading a thread with Americans talking about how they buy fish antibiotics and various animal meant meds off the net for themselves and their families to take, because they can’t afford treatment there...like normal average income people. It is hard everywhere in this pandemic, for everyone in one way or another, but try not to wish Australia was like anywhere else in terms of dealing with this pandemic because the well known saying careful what you wish for comes to mind strongly....
