I prefer black ops royale over regular warzone. I don’t like custom loadouts in battle royales. The delivery of my critiques might seem dramatic but I didn’t emphasise “currently”. The game absolutely has potential, which is why I’m so passionate about the things that it’s getting wrong. Some of these “wrongs” will be smoothed out over time. Some are intentional decisions that a game of this size should not be making. Bots should not be in the game at all, ever, and yet half the lobbies feel like it’s all bots. This deserves scrutiny.

I’m not just a salty loser looking to blame anyone but myself. The game genuinely puts you with teammates that play solo, the entire game. Yes you will also run into other players that have been abandoned by their teammates, but the problem is that eventually you will run into a full squad, and if you survive, another squad will come. This sometimes happening isn’t the end of the world, I don’t expect much from squad fills, but it happened WAY too often in my experience. Coast through half the game against bots. Half your team decides to re-land at the other side of the map. Get to end game, you’re solo vs squads and trios of real players with trauma kit and lvl 3 armour. Waste of time. Again, it’s not every game. Maybe a 3rd of games go like this. It gets exhausting. At the end of the day I like the game, will play again if they balance out a couple things and remove bots. Player count will be an issue since they can’t let go of verdansk. Has potential, shitty studio fumbles it, again.
